Living simply and loving what is simple is my way of life. I have been thinking about the word "belief" and I have a different definition of it: it isn't a learned conditioned response - when one has indoctrination and propaganda in their minds they can't actually come to a real belief - a real belief can only come into being when one puts aside their conditioning (such as being told something is true their whole lives, the every day propaganda that surrounds us) and once we put it aside we do our own independent thinking and independent investigation. Then and only then have we earned a belief. It is very difficult to put aside our conditioned thinking - it has to be cultivated slowly and surely, particularly through aspirational prayers or meditation. Thank you for reading this and have a wonderful day! (:
Thank you so much! Great reminders!
It’s incredible what roots can do! Beautiful analogy!
