- Where did the Easter bunny come from? When did the image of a rabbit or hare become associated with the Easter holiday? It has ancient origins but a 17th century beginning for what we know today as an Easter Bunny.

it's Easter tonight, he did not come for me, I was sleeping, then I woke up, I checked my basket, nothing was there, maybe the Easter Bunny forgot about me
Great history Easter bunny .
good info
I sleep with rabbits. They're stuffed; but don't tell them. It will hurt their feelings. And like Roger Rabbit says, "Pleeease don't pick us up by our ears!" 🐰
Still doesn't make sense for a rabbit to be associated with the celebration of Jesus Christ.

I think it’s a little more than what you’re saying it is. I can’t remember what I read but it seems like something vital is being left out.
It has nothing to do with animal spirituality it, the animal, begin being domesticated by an early pope as a alternative for lent thus why it’s attached to Christianity celebration of resurrection
The story of how rabbits supposedly became domesticated animals is a strange one. Around the year 600, Pope Gregory the Great issued a papal edict declaring that fetal rabbits were not meat. Because fluid-filled amniotic sacs surrounded rabbit fetuses, they counted as fish. Eaten this way the rabbits were a delicacy. French Catholic monks, who abstained from meat while observing Lent, pounced on the opportunity.

Wow....it began before all this. You didn't even answer your own question. Do more research Honey👍🏽
Most Christian holidays have pagan roots.
The Bible never says to celebrate Easter like this. It also never says to celebrate Christmas and have Christmas trees
R Music : When they should have Jewish roots!
Most secular holidays have Christian roots...
the word used in scripture translates to 'young woman', NOT virgin....there's a large part of your theology EVERYONE conveniently overlooks
What is that?
