I saw for you too there's this terrible ~1 second lag/freeze when you start recording. Is there any way to fix this in expo? It really makes for a terrible UX, and makes an Instagram-style hold-to-record-video nearly impossible
Sorry about that! My Mac GPU seems to have died, so I can’t edit Picture in Picture as I’m editing on my iPad currently until I can afford to get it fixed… When I do Picture in Picture on iPad it crops out the top and bottom of the screen so some buttons don’t show 😔 and the simulator doesn’t have access to the camera so I had to record on my actual device!

Video Recording (expo -camera) is not working on production/apk file but working my development mode
