No, the saving of our country requires them to put country over party and vote for Joe. Otherwise we may never get another election. Thanks to all who do it. Joe is to the right of Eisenhower, who could have run on either ticket, so policy wise it’s not such a stretch, and anybody can live with Joe’s policies for 4 more years.

@@WonderProfessor They can make an exception. I’ve never been aligned with any political party, but I would vote for Mickey Mouse if the alternative was project 2025, as the former president is. They can join us this time, and we will have new choices in 2028. Otherwise, it is very unlikely that we will ever have choice again, merely the appearance of one just like Hungary. I encourage people to read and understand project 2025 or listen to historian Heather cox Richardson explain it before choosing to just write a name in, but you and I don’t have to be in 100% agreement on this and can still be friends. That’s supposed to be the beauty of America. 🤗💙🇺🇸

@margoalamoto3903, every time I think of the incompetence I get angry. Intelligence agencies warned him as early as November of the potential crisis, and he did nothing. He had the pandemic playbook from several past presidents, and he refused to read it. He was warned in December of the potential crisis by every intelligence agency and health agencies and did nothing. We had greater warning than any country except China, two oceans to isolate us, greater resources than any country, and Trump continued to ignore it. Furthermore he flaunted it with rallies and refused to take any actions until it was too late. His China travel ban allowed 40,000 people into the country without testing or quarantine. His "European ban" had tens of thousands of travelers stuck in crowded airports for hours without testing, distancing, PPE, or quarantine, creating the perfect Petri dish for pandemic. He eschewed masks, distancing, business closures, and encouraged gatherings. Deborah Birx said after the first wave Trump was responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. His practices and disparaging measures of protection probably accounted for a million people in the final tally.

@buckbuckner3505, according to Deborah Birx in her book tens of thousands of Americans after the initial surge during Trump's administration. We can never know how many more died because of Trump's stances on distancing, masks and vaccinations.

Thank you for mentioning the ridiculously high turnover in his administration, the people who wouldn't work with him again. That shows there's something wrong at the top. Many were good people who tried to keep him on track despite himself; there would be no such guardrails in a second administration. Meanwhile, his closest associates all seem to develop serious legal issues, with many convicted and serving jail time (with no remorse). This, too, shows there's something wrong at the top. You are known by the company you keep. It is NOT a rigged legal system. Its a bunch of mobsters thinking they are above the law, doing all they can to deflect it (both officially through the legal system and unofficially in the court of public opinion), and crying foul when justice catches up to them. THEY are the swamp (not the other way around, as they'd have you believe), and it is a dark and fetid swamp of their own making.
There is only one viable choice in November, for the sake of the country.💙🇺🇸💙

I'm no Right-wing Republican, but my very first presidential vote ever was for Ronald Reagan -- not because I agreed with his domestic policies (I mostly didn't), but because of his principled stance against the evils of Soviet hegemony. (I then served two tours in the Navy to further accentuate that support). If Reagan could see what's become of his party in the age of MAGA, he'd be spinning in his grave!!
Abe Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt and Dwight Eisenhower were Republicans, and I'd bet they're turning in their graves, too!
