Who do you think the rings summoned?
He mandarin
Your mom.
Also the person below me hasn't watched the movie and is a piece of garbage. The movie and Shaun-Chi is amazing.
This character sucks, no cool "bus fight scene" is enough.
@@jpsrandom6943 did you even see the movie?
I think it's the Eternals are who made the rings and now it's calling to them. Ten rings, Ten Eternals who came to earth. And that soul sucker kinda looks like the Deviants
In my opinion, I think wen wu actually allowed himself to be killed. Remember, he is immortal with the rings. I believe once he realized his wife is not coming back, and that his son is worthy to take over his rings, he was ready to move on. And sent the rings to shang chi. Just a fantastic movie. Loved it
Oh I didn’t know! Good point!
Yes, he's not die when he have rings in hand when he release he's soul sucked .Good point
He thought his Son needed to see him die to make him stronger
Agreed. When he realized his son was right about his wife, then saw his son handle the rings like Dad never could, he was ready to go - and happy to do so.
Also if Wenwu kept The 10 Rings he would be an endless battery for the Queen Soul Sucker.
The actor who told Katy that she was not ready for the battle multiple times was one of the big actors in the movie KungFu hustle which was teased in Shang’s room.
omg the landlord!
holy shit!!!! I knew he looked familiar!!!!! he's the drunken kung fu style landlord!!!
The elevator attendant was the barber from kung fu hustle as well
He's also Bruce Lee's stunt double. Legend in chinese kung fu films too.
first time i saw him, i was like "hol up a minute, is that the landlord??" he's a lot older now so i wasn't sure, but i looked up the cast online, and yoooo it really was the landlord!! it's so cool to see so many legendary asian actors i grew up watching in the movie
I like how they turned one of Mcu’s most hated twist with Trevor and Killian into just a ruse for the real Mandarin 🤣
Did you catch that Aldrich Killian Easter egg when Shang chi and awkrafina get off the bus and go to the fight please right after the sumo slams the guy the next fighter is a fire 🔥 guy like the ones in iron man 3 wasn’t expecting that and apparently nobody catch it
Sucks the real Mandarin still didn’t get to fight Ironman. He would’ve pulled out a good fight against Tony and they must’ve become great rivals just like in the comics
The twist in Iron Man 3 twist was brilliant
@@kassimparekh1639 more people than you think caught that kind of stuff
@@ethanstages3844 good I thought I was just seeing things
His fighting style moves from a power based Tiger style to a more deflection Taichi style. He moves from his anger and father issues to one of forgiveness, mercy, and understanding.
shang chi had a tiger style martial arts because of… his *tiger* parenting
That fight between Shang-Chi’s parents was so intimate and sensual and beautiful and whimsical and badass and…
Yeah for real, reminded me of House of flying daggers or hero
Reminds me of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon fight scenes.
thats how Chinese people make love (I'm Chinese)
That reminded me on a Chinese movie: 5 elements.
Loved seeing them bring in asian culture with Hong Kong fighting movies
A tiny little detail that they included that I loved was seeing him visit Katy's home and they did a closeup of him removing his shoes, which is a common custom in Asian households. Seeing people wear shoes indoors in movies and tv shows always weirded me out
Not just in Asia, in Europe as well
I'm as white as a ghost, and my mom made everybody take their shoes off before coming in the house.
Cool
That's just normal
What if ppl burst into the house unexpectedly? Lol like what if razor fist attacked there instead of the bus? That would have been great seeing him kickass without shoes on haha
Asian Mom be like: why can’t you be like Shang Chi and have 20 rings
lmao i read that in steven he's voice. thanks for the laugh
20.....
The biggest plot was actually your way of connecting Trevor's hairline to the Keeps sponsor
Did anyone else notice when Shang-Chi's Mother is about to fight for her death she draws a yin and yang symbol in the snow with her feet? Shang Chi does the same thing towards the end of the movie.
Also she made that in her first fight with Shang chi father
Yeah, that's the Ta Lo fighting stance.
And the auntie
I am pretty sure noticed it
As an Asian man, A Whole New World is sung at every karaoke session I've been to. If I don't pick it, someone else will lol
It's a banger
@@aswinstone first time I heard a whole new world as a banger.
@@mlguy8376 it's true.
Hey, Screen Crush, A friendly reminder, Shangchi DOESN'T actually mean "the rising and the advancing of the spirit". It was from the original comic, yes, but the Chinese meaning was wrong. Stan Lee randomly picked "Shang" (上) from "Shanghai", and "Chi"(氣, you know, kungfu's chi) to create the name. But in Chinese, that's not a normal combination of someone's name.
So in the movie, they changed it to "尚氣" and 尚 is a normal character we use in names. But it doesn't mean "rising and advancing" anymore. 尚 means "Respect, admire or expert", 氣 may also mean " spirit, temperament, or vitality". Not every word in the name needs to have a connecting meaning.
Thank you!
Marvel trying to pander to the Chinese audience failed miserably at the name 😂
thanks for educating
Thank you. I believe many people also assume Shang Qi to be the character's full name which is actually Xu Shang Qi, with Shang Qi being the given name of two syllables.
Thank you! Nice explanation
Just got home from watching Shang-Chi and now I can finally unblock all these spoiler videos all over RUclips. It was AMAZING. Such a gorgeous film and richly layered story. Easily one of the best origin movies MCU has ever made.
@Jefferson Lopez Only joke round here is you kid.
@Jefferson Lopez First off, I “literally” said, “Easily ONE of the best.” So learn how to read KID. Secondly, I can point to a dozen things about the film that put it head-to-head with any MCU origin story made thus far, as can anyone with two eyes and a brain. So where’s the exaggeration? But I can see such rhetoric would be wasted on someone who can’t even read and understand basic sentences.
It was the best stand alone MCU movie in my opinion as well
It was the best marvel origin movie next to doctor strange
@Jefferson Lopez what’s better then?
I think it's the Eternals are who made the ring and now it's calling to them. Ten rings, Ten Eternals who came to earth. And that soul sucker is kinda look like the Deviants
Also a post credits scene usually connects to the next MCU movie - which is Eternals!
100% agree it was the eternals
But eternal was supposed to come out first
@@joshuaestrada2376 Could be connected anyway.
For real, I also thought the demons looked like the deviants, let's see what Eternals tells us about it!
The bamboo fight seemed like such a call back to Rush Hour 2. Surprised that was not used as a reference in this video lol
100% what I was thinking
"Aghhhh Lee, help me!"
"CARTEEER!!!"
"Chinese bamboo very strong!"
Oh good. Glad I wasn't the only one who thought that lol.
@@fin._.thehuman lowkey wished shang chi really said it, it would have been a funny easter egg.
When they introduced him as 'Bus Boy' before his fight is reminiscent of Toby McGuire Spider-Man fighting Bonesaw.
BONESAW IS READY
"You ain't going nowhere" is one of my fav quotes, especially when my coworkers are trying to go home early
behind the room where Trevor was staying there was a Liverpool football club scarf, tying back to iron man 3 where he was watching football, he also says that he’s from Liverpool
It’s football not soccer
@@Jeromey121 of course bro but i’m talking to americans 😂
@@nabilbennani5348 it’s 2021, do people think that you can’t say “Liverpool football club” and Americans are going to shit their pants “Liverpool?! Is that a brand new NFL team?! Football surely only means one thing!!”
Also Glory Glory Man United. Let’s go Ronaldo
they are called LFC not LSC
soccer is still a universal noun for the sport as it avoids confusion
fixed it
I noticed that Trevor's line "it's just acting" from Iron Man 3 now has been revealed to come from his mother, kind of sad
He beat Heavy Spoilers
In this timeline, Yes.
I know this is a crazy first
😮
True. A rare treat.
Only cus Ryan's mom helped
I mentioned this on Twitter but one of the smaller fights was between someone with Extremis and what looked like a Black Widow Soldier.
They’re just called Black Widows
Anyone else noticed the similarities between the plot of the movie and the latest episode of What If, they have a similar plot, an arrogant man changed by love, looses the love of his life and does crazy things to bring that love back, that could destroy the universe, and the interdimensional soul suckling Demon looks like something Strange may have absorbed on that episode
I noticed that the mandarin got a 20 year break just like the talibans, they know stuff
Yeah, What If.. is canon if you didn’t already know.
@@Yoursistersazz of course it is, but I was pointing out how the movie relates to the new episode in particular, having similar stories and possibly a multiversal Demon connection. What grief makes people do, seems like a theme the MCU is going for right now, 2 episodes of What If, Shang Chi and Wandavision, even FATWS had that with Walker.
@@patax144 Some people still don’t know or believe what if is canon I’ve had to yell at people over it
My first though exactly.
Actually, when they fought with their palms open, it's very similar to a school of Chinese martial arts, Tai Chi, which represents softness and fights with the force of the current -- basically yin. While they fought with their fists and brute force, it's basically most popular type of martial arts, and it represents toughness and yan. They are basically two styles of fighting. So opening the palm is not really about submission in any of the scenes
And the open palm allowed him to "invite" the rings to come to him.
Also sticky hands fighting where there is always one contact
Tom leung's acting, and performance as wenwu was the best part of schangchi movie! He absolutely made mandarin get his respect back after what marvel did in iron man 3 with the character.
His name's Tony Leung tho... 😏
The fight scenes were amazing! I'm happy they included shang-chi into the superhero group. Wong was a beautiful addition. I hope we'll see more of the abomination in Dr strange's new movie. This was a awesome movie!!!
There's a poster in Shang Chi's room of Kung Fu Hustle (great movie), which stars Yuen Wah. The actor then shows up as Guang Bo. It's meta and I love it.
“They stab it with their steely knives,
But they just can't kill the beast”
Is a jab at Steely Dan who the Eagles had a friendly rivalry with at the time.
And they stab the soul suckers with their knives and can’t kill the beasts.
Perhaps, but it’s mostly about drug abuse. The whole song is. The steely knives are needles.
@@PickledGamesOfficial in the movie they show it literally so it was a fun easter egg for people to catch
Turn up the Eagles the neighbors are listening
trivia: When xia ling took over the ten ring organisation, the script of the ten rings logo changes to a modern simplified chinese characters.
Has anyone noticed that the symbols on the 10 Rings flag have changed with Xialing taking the lead in the group?
Trevor’s line “What’s he looking at me for?” after the car brakes sharply in front of the ‘horse’, is a nod to the same line in a similar scene in Sexy Beast which starred, and was said by, Sir Ben Kingsley as Don Logan.
I noticed that too. Exactly the same line that he said about a goat in the road in Sexy Beast.
you guys are good
The lead actor of Kung fu hustle, Yuen Wah, was in the movie as well. He was the Archery Master who helped Awkwafina take the Smaug Shot. Also I think that the rings are calling out to Fin Fang Foom, who now wants his rings back to conquer again.
@Luke Clifton yes!!! He has an impt role as well in the film! Loved it when I saw him :)
If anybody played marvel ultimate alliance you know this man was a beast.
I believe the rings will have something to do with the Eternals
Wenwu: "小伙子,我吃盐比你吃饭还要多" this line cracked the whole theatre up
Did anyone think that thing about people hearing the voices of their lost ones similar to Wanda? Like that might be related to the voice that Wanda heard at the end.
14:37 Yin and Yang are usually depicted as Black and White, or sometimes Blue and Red. Notice Wenwu and his gangs wear Blue(Wenwu himself, Death dealer) and Black(Knife fisted guy and tenrings henchmen). Meaning they represent the Yin. While the good guys wear Red(Shangchi and people of Ta-Lo) and White(Sister). Since they represent Yang. To more extent, the soul drainers seems to be mostly black in color while great protector is clearly white with red hair.
Yang is masculine energy/tied to the sun and Yin is feminine energy/tied to the moon. Yang energy can sometimes even be reckless. Neither is bad or good, you need balance. Yin-yang is about a dynamic balance of opposing but complementary and interconnected forces, also known as chi. That's why Shang Chi's aunt told him he needed to balance both his parents' past to find himself. Please understand Chinese culture before attempting to explain this according to what you think is Yin-yang. Thanks.
Note: Despite the username, I am Chinese.
Hands down the best fight choreography in the MCU. Great movie!!!
the Protector Dragon seemed to swim in a pattern that looked like the mobius strip, the symbol for infinity.
thats a western symbol tho
@@Uns46 I bet there are examples of "Eastern" symbols to be found in the west as well, the human mind doesnt know boundaries, theres a universal unconscious at work. look at shapes like pyramids that crop up in Africa and South America, its all connected. anyway, it looked to me like a mobius strip, just my interpretation, true believer!
@@mobyt.3900 yes I see where you are coming from. But why does a 5000 year old civilization has a relatively new symbol from the recent 200 years of history? I can understand why a 200 old civilization learning from a 5000 year old civilization, not the other way around. The thousand year old guardian dragon living in the lake does not even know the existence of Möbius strip that was designed in 1858. Does it make sense? The timeline is wrong haha
@@Uns46 okay, how about this: its just a movie! I was just making an observation, it doesnt have to be a deep historical thing. I enjoyed the movie and really appreciated the way it was handled, the teasing out of the flashbacks, the making a ruthless killer into a sympathetic bad guy, it was genius.
@@mobyt.3900 yes I loved the movie too. 👌
All Hail the king "You Took his name"
Shang Chi "He named himself after a dish"
Perhaps he was trying to let Trevor know "who" was talking about in a way he would understand, as in, "The Mandarin". Yes, it's a big stretch and a major retconing but hey, you gotta just let some things slide. It's amazing enough they've kept an ongoing, episodic film series for more than a decade+ and still going.
I get it. Would have been better if that assassin told him that he assumed his identity.
Any Tekken fans notice a similarity between Shang Chi's parentage and that of Jin Kazama?
Evil, power hungry father opposite a peaceful and just mother, both of whom are martial artists (but Japanese in their case)
Yess, it did! I was thinking of the devil and angel characters too.
Not surprising no one are mentioning how abomination just walked away with wong ,and now he's a good person.
Yeah WTF. Like they're buddies or something. Also why is Wong opening a portal in the middle of a restaurant? Are normal people used to seeing magic portals in the MCU?
@@SwatBeatsOfficial I’d imagine nothing really surprises people much anymore in that world.
@@SwatBeatsOfficial Aliens, Norse gods, 6 magic stones that can erase half life in the universe if you wish hard enough... magic portals aren't the weirdest thing in the universe...
@@SwatBeatsOfficial Strange opened a portal in the middle of a park in Infinity War like no big deal too. If it ain't illegal then whatever I guess.
I think there's a former red room widow fighting in one of the rooms of the Golden Dagger club. I doubt it has any impact on the future trajectory of the MCU, but it's a nice nod to the Black Widow movie!
Yes! I saw too. And notice how she was fighting the glowing man. One of the enhanced people from iron man 3.
@@edgarcorona5236 saw that! Some Extremis experiment no doubt!
Yes she was fighting an extremis super soldier
@@perksofbeingcurvy4827 I was definitely gonna point that out too.
The last post credits scene has a phalanx of female warriors training at the 10 Ring compound.
I think that's where the remaining Black Widows are.
I love that Ryan sells Keeps as a method of stopping hair loss, while the photos show impossible hair regrowth 😆 Take another sponsor, drop the snake oil merchant
Thanks for this breakdown! I thought the whole thing with Talo was over the top but after learning how much the movie lines up with the comics, I have a greater appreciation for the movie now.
did you notice the subtle lion carvings guarding the waterfall into the hidden village of ta lo?
Haven’t seen the movie yet. Reminds me of a Dr Strange comic series that delved in magical debt. There’s always a debt to pay for the spells Strange is casting. Dr Strange finds out that a monk monastery is full of monks that have crazy stuff happening to pay the debt for Strange to defend reality. Wonder if Marvel will do that in the movies
Well, given this movie, and the latest What If episode, even Spider-Man NWH, Mordo's warnings from the first movie, is definitely a theme they are going for
That is both SO medieval England and certain flavors of Buddhism. (other places too, but England, especially the areas of Northumberland, and Yorkshire! Trade, farming, water rights, all revolved around the monasteries. The monks true job was to continually offer prayers for the "sins of the world") It's fascinating how the comic universe can be nuanced (i.e. Miles Morales) or obliviously racist (Fu Manchu). The MCU has been constructed really well, especially the phase 3+ reconceptualizations!
One of the cool subtle color motifs is the suits. When Wu takes Shang, he's wearing a grey & black suit indicating a movement from ambiguous back to darkness & Shang is wearing a black jacket with a white shirt (yin & yang) showing his need for balance.
The horse-like antlered creatures of Ta Lo are actually known as "qilin" (named as native to Ta Lo in the comics). The fire birds are known as "fenghuang" (also named as a species native to Ta Lo in the comics). The fu dogs / guardian lions are identified by their Korean name (haetae) in the comics.
fenghuang凤凰means phoenix
fu dog is actually called 石狮 in Chinese, meaning rock lion
@@Uns46 Yes, rock lion or "shíshī" if going for the pronunciation of the Chinese name.
The qilin is actually called 麒麟 in Chinese, but is probably known better in the USA under its Japanese name "kirin" (like the Japanese beer).
@@ripsaber6546 yup you are right. I’m Chinese btw haha
I saw it today and one of my favorite easter eggs was seeing Hong Kong actor/Stuntman Yuen Wah in this film as a Martial Arts Master mentoring Awkwafina's character. I was surprised that Kevin Feige was able to get him to take part in an MCU film because he served as the main photo double and stunt double for Bruce Lee in the 60's to early 70's for films Fist of Fury and Enter The Dragon. He also had small roles in both of Bruce Lee's films. The color combination with the costumes for the characters were nicely distinguished as well with red symbolizing hero while Blue of course symbolized Death "Death Dealer". Xialing's costume in Tao-Lo was Yang (White) symbolizing the light side.
There is no yin or yang colours, bruh. You are Asian, but you are not Chinese. Do not attempt to explain Chinese culture unless you actually understand them, please. White is associated with metal and is actually an unlucky colour in Chinese customs and what we wear to funerals. Yin-yang is about balance/chi not light or dark side. This ain't Star Wars. Blue does not symbolise death in Chinese culture but represents wood in the 5 elements. Red is a colour associated with fire and everything lucky/successful. Yin is not negative. Yin energy is associated with the moon, and Yang energy is associated with the sun. You need a balance of both to attain balance, which is what Michelle Yeoh's character keeps telling Shang Chi. He needs to balance his dad's (Yang) and mother's (Yin) past to find himself. And yes, Yang is masculine while Yin is feminine. That's why Mulan was asked to hide her Yang cos she is meant to be a girl and in those days, it was not appropriate for a woman to practice martial arts.
Just got back from watching the movie in theatres and this has to be a top 7 marvel movie
I didn't know what to expect & I was blown away! Loved it!
nah
When they were about to sing “I don’t want to fall asleep” during karaoke and they fell asleep hahahahahahahahah
Man you always crush it. I look forward to your videos more than the actual movies and shows sometimes! Thanks for giving me a reason to run home after the movie to learn all the stuff I missed but makes it all so much better.
Another missed cameo: In the golden dagger fight club hallway Awkwafina’s Katy compliments a guy’s spike face, the guy has a similar look to Shock-Wave from the comics of The Hands of Shang Chi Master of Kung Fu #42.
guys I just saw it. It was so good! go see it. The choreography in the bus scene was amazing
Agreed! It was AMAZING!
He's basically marvel version of zuko from Avatar The last Airbender minus the scar
Ryan, your videos have become a part of how I enjoy movies. I always look forward to your easter eggs just as much as the movie itself.
The father's revenge scene was dope
Yeah I was thinking Abomination was headed back to the Raft so does Wong have some deal with Ross or SHIELD? 🤷🏽♂️
For real. The Wong connection specifically is odd.
Tbh if they revealed Wong has been a SHIELD agent all along I wouldn't hate that at all. In fact it might even reveal why the infiltrated Hydra SHIELD would have known to watch out for Steven Strange since the Ancient One knew he would arrive eventually SO perhaps Wong knew to some extent as well, if only that the name was important.
When Shang chi’s sister (I forgot her name) took over the ten rings…she lets female soldiers train also
So that’s that
At the beginning of the scaffolding scene the music intentionally matches the music in The Matrix when Neo steps out onto scaffolding to try to avoid the Agents
2:11 No scene is during the Napoleonic era. The first scene is probably Medieval Islamic central Asia, sometime form 700s to 1000s (given the architecture and the armor of the soldiers) It's probably loosely inspired by the conflicts between T'ang dynasty of China and the Caliphate that culminated in the battle of Talas.
The second scene isn't clear but it could be somewhere in China.
The third scene which I think you assumed is from Napoleon's time is probably form 1500s or 1600s, and the soldiers they are fighting are very likely either Portuguese or Spanish given the armor they're wearing. It could be in one of their colonies like Portuguese Macau.
And the last two scenes are from the 20th century.
Why is Banner back to being puny?
He must have used his 7 phd's
It's in the timeline when Banner was puny, before professor hulk
Maybe they thought if he transformed back to human it'd repair the arm or they could only fix his arm if he was in human form since Hulk is pretty much invulnerable?
@@bmorehou This movie made reference to the blip a few times, and he already had the Nano-gauntlet injury, so it cannot be before Prof Hulk.

I can’t be the only one who noticed the Kung Fu Hustle poster in Shang’s apartment. Such a classic Kung Fu film!
kinda bummed that the chances for K’un-L ’un and Shou-Lao are reduced now due to them being so similar to Shang’s story. But who knows, maybe this just strengthens those chances and tees up Iron Fists story. I would love to see the two of them fight and watch Danny get throw around by our new shiny Windy-boi.
Absolutely loved the movie and I am living for the diverse Asian representation.
Better than I thought , pretty good fights
Love the creation museum mug, Ryan!
I believe the 10 rings were the rings of a celestial or eternal as while the rings aren’t worn as rings but as bracelets this leads me to believe that the rings were some sort of previous housing for an infinity stone possibly the reality, mind or soul stones
I also thought it was interesting how the demon dragon tentacle thing they fought at the end sucked souls much like evil doctor strange in the previous what if...? episode.
I can finally watch this!
I knew Trevor would show back up and I loveddd it, I just didn’t expect him to be in so much of the movie 😅Disney+ also cleverly promoted the “All Hail The King” one shot recently so you found out or had a recap about who he is before watching Shang Chi 👏🏽

Spoiler: the whole rooftop scene in THE ROOM was actually all green screen background
what scene is this?
It’s gonna be eternals because one of the 2 end credit scenes ALWAYS alludes to the next movie dropping in theaters
Except Eternals was supposed to come out before Shangchi before COVID so this might not be the case.
@@elvinwong5732 the director of the film confirmed he shot the first credit scene earlier this year during reshoots ,whereas the second one during filming which wrapped back in October of 2020 ,so by earlier this year we already knew Shang Chi was coming out before Eternals so there’s that !

Here's just a little addition. They used Jeff Gordon because he is a California native. Most nascar greats are from the south east. Katy also drops some misinformation. She claims Jeff gordon has the most wins in nascar history. He doesn't, thats Richard Petty, who has 107 more career wins than Jeff.
Is it just me, or was Shang-Chi's target ABSOLUTELY Katy's granddad?
Also, LOVED the movie, BUT can we also talk about the severe left turn the music took on the credit roll? Like, fine song, but what the hell did it have to do with the movie? It was a BIZARRE choice that sincerely didn't fit with the film.
Yeah, good reference. The end credits song was the only thing about the movie I didn’t like.
What do most end credits songs have to do with ANY film?
Yooo. A video referencing Dynasty Warriors???? Immediate subscribe right there. I kept thinking to myself “man, it would be awesome if they took inspiration from Dynasty Warriors.”
love screencrush but the audio quality of the mic could use a noisegate ! Thanks so much for the fan service! I am a fan of you guys too :)
I've just noticed a interesting detail, the little balls of energy around wanda in the wandavision Post credit scene sort kf make out to be little planets or alternate earth's from other universes further backing her searching the multiverse theory
The ring around her almost depicts the sacred timeliness cyclical structure which may link her opening of the darkhold with the events of the timeliness fracturing into the multiverse to find her kids
The fact that Bruce wasn’t the Hulk, sort of messed me up a bit. It would’ve made more sense to keep him that way. Since it would have made more sense for Jennifer Walters being knowledgeable when she becomes green in the She-Hulk series. Just like how Bruce was in Endgame. But I don’t think we can really predict the problem with him yet. It’s fun to speculate but maybe he’s just having trouble like he did in infinity war. 😂
Or he just learned how to do switch back and have control. This is marvel you know they will explain it all in due time. I liked the continuity of him still having the brace which shows how using the gauntlet as the hulk was that damaging
Which means they can basically reset the hulk back to how he use to be to make up for the bs they been giving us
Maybe Amadeus Cho took the Hulk power like the comics
Seen in the 'low-level' fights: Project Extremis patient/volunteer
Good stuff
Man I give up with trying to correct you and your "foo dogs". The giant badass lions are called "GUARDIAN LIONS"...you were so close. 3 videos and 2 corrections later, I guess you just really want to call them foo dogs, even though you actually start by CALLING THEM LIONS.
@@SkylightCiel It's called 石獅 in mandarin. As in Stone Lion when translated directly. They are guardian lions. But in the western world, you guys who are ignorant of Chinese culture, wrongly called it "Foo Dogs", which does not even make sense in mandarin. @@tonyabrookes9931 What the funk is wrong with you people, where am I complaining? Y'all are reading too much into my comment. I personally haven't seen the video but it was the first thing I saw when I opened RUclips which if you would look at the comments instead of trying to be an ass you would see others actually complaining. Don't @ me again please and thank you ✌️

Wow
That's a deep reference and I guarantee most people will miss it. Nice addition @ScreenCrush
Thanks for the Shang chi video! Much appreciated
