It should be mentioned that Premium includes a complimentary Brightline+ pickup or drop-off within 5 miles of the station via Uber. This is especially nice in Miami as that 5-mile radius also includes South Beach. When you consider the cost of an Uber in conjunction with the food and alcohol, Premium is definitely worth it. Great video.
Incredibly thorough & informative! Best review of the Brightline so far!!! You are so much more detail-oriented than the other reviews I've seen!! Thank you tremendously for your review...you have my LA butt excited for them to build Brightline West, from LA to Las Vegas!
Thank you for the kind words ☺️🙏. I’m glad I was able to show you what Brightline has to offer ☺️.I’m excited for that Vegas route too!! Hopefully they invite me to review it when they launch it
This is an impressive video, I’m not sure what type of camera you are using but the quality is great and the cinematography is exceptionally well done.
Thank you for the kind words, it really means a lot ☺️. I’m using a Canon EOS R5. And trying to show train travel and other parts of the world differently from others.
I am so hyped for Brightline west! Can’t wait for true high speed rail to come to this country. Plus seeing Amtrak upgrade its train stations in Baltimore, NYC Moynihan and several others, the future of rail is bright in the US. Let’s hope that we keep this momentum going!
Texas is talking high speed train between the 3 big cities. They will import Japanese trains and rails, to avoid inventing the wheel again. Very smart, I think. These Japanese trains (Shinkansen) are very very fast.
They recently got funding to study the corridor from Dallas to Fort Worth and connecting it to Houston along with Amtrak and are thinking of starting construction sometime in the next 2 years. Stay tuned!
Thank you for the kind words ☺️. It was definitely a nice train ride, a step in the right direction for train travel in the US. I hope y’all enjoy y’all’s trip.
For some reason the seat direction you pick on the app or website or kiosk when you purchase the ticket is facing the complete opposite direction of the actual seat you will sit in when you board the train. It's been a glitch in the online ticketing system since forever. So whatever direction you want to face when picking a seat, pick a seat facing the opposite direction when you purchase your ticket. 😅
Thanks for the great vid! I live in Tokyo, Japan and will be visiting Florida soon. I'm thinking of taking the train, but I am VERY VERY spoiled by Japan's highly efficient rail system and high speed trains. I think I better just enjoy the experience and not try to compare the two. I'm pretty sure there is no comparison. Thanks again!
Thank you for the kind words ☺️. I hope you’ll enjoy Florida :). I can’t wait to visit Japan one day and ride y’all’s trains and make a video about them. Haha yeah we are no where near y’all’s level when it comes to transportation
Loved your review and how more idk how to say wholesome..? It was, idk it just felt a lot more personable and not annoying or repetitive. And yes Brightline gets me super excited as well. I really wonder how LA-Vegas will be. Will you be planning to check it out when that day comes?
Catching up to EU idk about that, maybe China but the EU has a good train system but I am rooting for this product, I hope they expand all the way up north! I would take a ATL to Miami high speed train but I bet there are lobbyist trying to kill the train system. Great video overall, just hope people take care of the train seems some seats had some damage already but hey all good!
I did notice some of the damage too, ohhhh you were really watching the video?:). Thank you for watching and your comments. I hope within the next 20 years we see a surge in train infrastructure and a shift to more livable cities for people.
Would you be willing to share your relative height for the folks who ha e an interest in legroom specs? I’m hopeful that the 6’5” folks like me will have a good experience.
They need to addess the horn at every intersection up the coast all day long early and late...very stressful if you live and or work in the general proximity of one.
No horn policy has resulted in 99 people dead so far. Indeed two people were killed in the last 6 days because the train doesn't blow the horn in certain areas.
They have to keep the prices high enough so the hood won't get on. Imagine tickets $10 or $20 to Orlando. It would be ghetto AF! It would become the Carnival Cruise Lines and Spirit Airlines of the rails☹️. So I pray they don't lower the price.
It's weird to hear of people getting excited about a train that is taken for granted in the rest of the modern world. It's even been fazed out in some countries because it's so old. The UK had these trains in 1975 and stopped using them in 2017, almost 50 years ago. ruclips.net/video/Ddb9YgKz5FA/видео.html
I just hope the US will see more of these trains and more modern newer versions of these trains in different states. In Texas were suppose to be getting Japanese high speed trains. Fingers crossed
Trains are prevalent in the rest of the 'modern' world because they are behind in air travel. Look at Flight Aware over the United States and you see so many planes that you can barely see the country itself compared to the relatively scarce air transport systems in Europe and Asia. In other words this train is taking the United States back to the relatively primitive standards of transportation (trains) that currently exist in Europe and other parts of the 'modern' world.
@@exoressdelivers70 Trains are prevalent because they make sense, and run from city centre to city centre. Trains in India carry nearly as many passengers in a day as the US carries in a year. But then again you could be right, perhaps that's why London has six airports?

Thanks for nice tip. How is that set up?
@@johnm7882 Through the app.
it’s only in miami. you do not have that benefit in orlando
Does this benefit exist at palm beach station as well? We are looking at cruising in the future and think that would be a great perk for us

We are traveling to south Florida soon and will be trying out the Brightline train for the first time. I’m so exited! Your video is very informative!
Thank you for the kind words ☺️. It was definitely a nice train ride, a step in the right direction for train travel in the US. I hope y’all enjoy y’all’s trip.
love trains
Same!!!! 🎉hopefully a Brightline becomes the blueprint for intercity rail in America
love your review and your refined etiquette and behaviour.
please continue creating great content and being a great person.
Thank you for the kind words ☺️🙏. I have a train video coming out, it’s about a Ukrainian Sleeper Train.
Loved how you showed the details! From ram access, chart of other public transportation options etc. - Thanks
Thank you for watching :) I’m glad I could help 😊
Great to see your channel! This was a great informative discussion on the Briteline! Looking forward to more vlogs! Keep up the good work!
Thank you for the kind words ☺️. I can’t wait for Brightline West ☺️
Very helpful video. I think we’ll try taking brightline for our next family trip. Thanks for sharing your experience.
Yes yall should try it :)! I’m glad you enjoyed the video ☺️
Can’t wait to ride it!!! Have plans for when they open the Orlando line.
You'll enjoy it! I cant wait for the Orlando too!

Yeah…. I was quite sad about it actually :( Good to know it wasn’t my fault. 🤦🏿
Is that still happening?? I will get severely motion sick if sitting backwards but I picked a seat that shows forward facing travel…
Such a great video! It made me make my decision for when I travel next month!!
Thank you for the kind words. :). I hope you enjoy the train ride.

Great video! I’m headed out on Bright line. I’m excited!
Thank you for the kind words. I hope you have a great trip!! They are really nice trains
Very helpful, glad I got the premium round trip.
Thank you for the kind words. :) I’m glad you enjoyed the trip. I can’t wait for more trains like this in the US
from what i remember. the seats in smart (and premium i believe) have USB c in the ports in front of the seat
Dang, I’m gonna have to take it again haha. 😂. Thank you for the comment, I must have missed this. Was too excited with train
is it worth it for premium? It looks really nice but a corona and a couple of snacks doesnt seem to be worth like $40 more
If you got money 💰 then why not. But tbh it’s not worth that price. At least not for me. Sorry for the late reply
I’m going down there in November can’t wait to try the train out
I hope you will love the experience! Hopefully this can be a blue print for more trains like this in the US.

The premium looks so worth it!

How was the WiFi? I’m considering taking it but I’ll be in online school during my train ride.
I tested the WiFi with Netflix and was good without buffering. But it could be different for you 😅 but it worked pretty good for me.
Just watched it again......I'm subscribing!

Quality public transportation is extremely lacking, but happy to see this going in the right direction

Great video!
Im glad you enjoyed it :).
Do they take your ticket before you get on?
You use your ticket to pass through the gate. So they never took my ticket from me
Do you have go into airport in Orlando to get to train?
I’m not sure, I haven’t taken the train to Orlando yet.
The Orlando station is in the airport but it has its separate area away from the busyness of the rest of the airport
Can America catch up to Europe and Asia when it comes to trains? I want to believe in the USA!
Me too!!! Fingers crossed 🤞! I’m actually filming another train video rn haha 😂
They need to addess the horn at every intersection up the coast all day long early and late...very stressful if you live and or work in the general proximity of one.
Ahhh I did not know that... I can see that being stressful indeed. Is the city doing anything to make this better for the locals?

5:48 😂
"They say it is a high speed train... It probably is not." is crazy. lol
haha I hope we will truly get high speed trains within the next decade
Brother, keep those video coming 🙂
More to come! Thank you for the support.
Definitions of high a speed train are +200 kmph.
That's because Brightline is a land development company, not a railroad. It's fast enough.
So brightline by that standard is actually HSR.
Just found your channel! Love this video :)
Thank you for the kind words :). I wanna of my favorite train rides, I felt like a kid again.
Premium is way to expensive from Miami to orlando
How much?
@@DavionWest it’s a shame but it’s almost 50% more expensive than taking a plane. But it wouldn’t be first class
Apparently not, the railroad is already bursting at the seams with passengers on the small part they have working.
They have to keep the prices high enough so the hood won't get on. Imagine tickets $10 or $20 to Orlando. It would be ghetto AF! It would become the Carnival Cruise Lines and Spirit Airlines of the rails☹️. So I pray they don't lower the price.
