My mom passed away two years ago and I'm still grieving very hard. Unfortunately in my life time I wasn't always nice to her and we fought many times. Now I sit here crying in shame and intense sorrow about not being able to take it back no more. It's a terrible burden to live with such guilt. So whatever you do today, please say sorry to your moms while they're still here.

When I was young I wanted to go to college. I was accepted but it cost a lot of money. We were never rich but had enough to eat, flat to live in and decent clothes to wear. Never had trademarked clothes or shoes, but, to tell you the truth, never missed them because I had my parents full unconditional and selfless love. My mother took 3 (!) jobs and said : go to college, we'll solve it! ' It was natural for me and didn't realize how much my mom worked from dawn to night for me. And I think I never really thanked her 😭 Just now, when I am a grownup and also a parent, can understand what my mom has done for me and my heart is aching for her. Yes, it's unbelievable what a mother's (or parents') love can do! But I think, here in Europe, people are not raised to be aware of parents ' respect, at least very few of them are. Jelous of China because of it.

Please cherish your parents. I don't live with my parents because I came to the U.S. when I was 13, or 14 and I am now 31. I pretty much grew up without them. I always try to remind anyone to cherish the people they still have in their lives, don't take anyone who loves you as granted.
Most children will never know the sacrifices and heartaches of the parent.

We don't know the value of something until we lose it.... Loving parents try their best for you. They will even go hungry and give you the food of their own plate because they love you so much... How many wish they had parents that loving? And how many more wish that they spent more time with them? You or they could be here now but then gone tomorrow like the morning's mist. So love them now before they go beyond your reach.

I love my mom so much, I will never treat her this way. She has worked so hard at home, she makes me and my brother food while were at school, she cleans the house ( we help her also when we dont have school), buy groceries, and raise us good. We should be proud to have parents like this and never disprespect them. ❤

I appreciate your bravery to film a video like this in China. I could see how much seeing the mother treated like this really upset the people who stepped in, from anger to seeing a couple of them actually in tears. I do believe almost every culture around the world has respect for elders taught to them, but none so much as Asian cultures do. I am from the USA and while we are also taught to respect our parents and elders, I don't believe that "filial piety" concept is as deeply ingrained in our culture as it is for Asia. I really wonder how a social experiment like this filmed in the US would turn out.

As a Pacific islander my first day of school my grandmother weaved a bag out of palm leafs for me to use for school. I finished getting ready to go to school for my first day & she handed me my leaf bag & i cried. Today i regret it all! If only i could turn back time & just use my leaf woven bag & go show it off at school because i did not have to pay anything for it. That is what i carry with me till this day & it still breaks me. 😭😭😭😭

my mom worked really hard to raise me and my little sister. She worked in a slaughterhouse and during her holidays she went to a neighboring country to work in asparagus harvesting. When she finally got a job at a local factory as a cleaner when I was in college and my sister was still in high school, instead of being ashamed, we were happy that she finally had a more light job

This is really nice to see if I saw anyone do that to their mom I would immediately say something, my mom passed away when I was 13 I didn't say anything to her that would upset her but I still had regrets and I wish I could see her again and I wouldn't want anyone else to feel that way when there mom passes away
