Yeah it is, matt from Carwow got the 0-100 time down to 4,4 seconds which is insanely quick for a car with ”only” 310HP and considering its size/weight.

No, it's because Cupra has always had it when I was a seat preparer when modifying one they left its characteristic matte colored rear bumper, on the old Seat Cupra they looked very good but on the new Cupra MEH

0 to 40 is instant. Our 18 Golf R is quick, but this must be tuned differently to perform the way it is. It’s bigger and heavier than Golf R.
Lower gear ratios compared to Golf R, more like T Roc R

The Formentor has great Interior and the engine is powerful enough, but why does it sound like a hair dryer?
Particle filters make them sound like that...meanwhile a little abarth in 2021 still sounds amazing, check my channel and see the abarth

The Hyundai i30n also sounds great even with particle filter, I have a 2018 i30n without particle filter.
The sound is for girls anyway.. It is all about performance and agility.. !

I´m gonna have a test drive on Wednesday. But I think I´ll get one anyway :-) Prices for (business) leasing are ridiculously cheap. A software update (stage 1) is pushing it easily to 350+ horsepower. Also adding some slightly lower springs - mission accomplished!

I tried the last Audi A3 and was very dissappointed by the internal components (a lot of plastic)... this car seems the same with some "cheap" materials, but the 190hp version is cheaper than the Audi A3 35tfsi... is it worth it over the audi? I really love Audis but I cannot justify in my head the extra price right now

@@Idontwantausernamist Yes it is exactly as you say! You also do not need to wait more than too long for it.The 2,5-liter Cupra also gets the Tiguan R's rear-axle locking differential and the exterior will also become more aggressive.

How cars have become too heavy and unaerodynamic - when 310hp is enough to barely reach 240kph in a small-medium car.
They are electronically limited from the factory, duh.

I know the Germans mostly have their voluntary Green-appeasing 250kph limiters (apart from Porsche) and the effect is visible with something that might otherwise be capable of 280+, but then cars like this demonstrate the detrimental effects of large frontal area (drag) and struggle to even attain 250. Once upon a time, cars were cars rather than rolling barns, but the SUV-style (what I called FAUX- wheel-drive because they're all about the look rather than real rugged capability) took hold and now you need astronomcal engine power to keep up with the aerodynamic deficiencies. Yes, in the real world, nobody without an autobahn on their doorstep needs to worry about it, but it still seems to me like two wrongs not making a right.

@@Walid__38 It´s just because regulations in EU .. noise with OPF is nearly a no go, sadly. There are many aftermarket exhausts already, that makes thing better but far from ideal.
