"I hate you earthlings" - Shaq LMAO 🤣🤣🤣
The man does look like he came from another planet
@calebporch944more like Harambe
If you grew up watching Shaq then you know that in his prime, teams had to carry extra big men on their bench just to foul him.
Their only job was to come in and foul Shaq otherwise the starting C or PF would foul out 🤣💀. Shaq was a 52% FT shooter, if he had been at 65-70% he would be solidified as the GOAT Center. Snacks and FT’s were his Achilles heel
Teams was drafting 2,3 centers a year just to have fouls to use on him
i grew up watching shaq and this is exactly how i can tell you never watched him play. you are literally repeating the narrative that has been spread by richard jefferson who was literally talkin out of his ass. even if you didnt watch him play which im 300% sure u didnt because i did, you have the internet and u can literally fact check the numbers. shaq in his prime years on the lakers are the peak of his physical attributes used to draw 4 fouls a game. get the fuck outta here with your imaginary history of the game and players.
Maybe that's why Shaq is 3rd. Because of that FT% . I remember him being taking out late in close games because of Hack-A-Shaq. Jabbar and Wilt, even though Wilt was bad at FT also, I don't think were ever taking out late for any reason in a close game.
They have banned dunking because of Kareem, not Shaq. Kareem was also dunking on everybody. He created impossible shot because they tried to stop him. So stop it like other centers never had to do anything else.
@@supernotnatural That was Kareem in college, not the pro's.
Lmao imagine if he said Dwight Howard
Shaq will walkout 😂
Shaq would of lost it
Anybody who saw Shaq in Orlando knew he was beast. His strength and size at the time, plus before he gained all that extra weight he moved up and down the court so fast.
The only thing that Shaq has over Wilt is mass. Without it, Wilt would dominate Shaq. Not only did he score more points than Shaq, but he had 23000 rebounds vs Shaq's 13000
@@Formula7DriverWilt was also a freak of nature within the NBA at that time, by orders of magnitude beyond even what Shaq was to his contemporaries. If you look at footage of games with Wilt, he looks like a modern day NBA player would look against college players. The average NBA player at that time was 6' 5" and centers only averaged 6' 9", which is Lebron's height. Wilt was nearly 7' 2", and his wingspan was more than a foot longer than basically anyone in the league. Wilt was built like a modern day NBA player in an era where nobody else was even close to that size or strength.
@@Formula7Driver You're only basing Wilt having more points and rebounds without any context to it. Wilt for the most part of his teams was the main offensive player, while Shaq shared the ball with the likes of Penny in Orlando, Kobe in LA, D-Wade in Miami, etc.
Shaq who is the same height as Wilt, had great speed for someone with more mass, along with great post moves.
I've watched both their highlights together side by side, and Shaq comparatively edges out Wilt, not by a lot though.
@@Morkins324 The average NBA player back then was 6'5? The average height of players from 2000 to 2015 was 6'6. That's a grand total of a single inch. There's no way that you can argue that the entirety of Wilt's dominance was because he played against guys an inch shorter than Shaq did. Plus, the rules were FAR stricter. Wilt couldn't just go into the paint and bowl over everyone in his path over and over again like Shaq could. If you even pushed your shoulder into a guy, that was a foul. And Wilt's era also averaged waaaaay more possessions per game than Shaq's era. That's a whole lot more running up and down the court, and we all know that Shaq had issues with stamina. Wilt never had stamina issues in a faster-paced league. He averaged more minutes a game *than there were actual regulation minutes* in a game in 61-62.
Wilt would still be a freak of nature in any era you put him in.
@@Boomheadshot520 did you watch the video? Shaq was the one pointing out that Wilt has more points, not me
David Stern literally said that if they called every foul that Shaq recieved the game would be stopped every 15 seconds. Shaq said you know what? you're right..n just ate those fouls n non calls..If Shaq was a great free throw shooter we'd easily be talking about the greatest center n possibly the greatest player ever. Sending him to the line was the only way teams could try n contain him at his prime.
Shaq was fouled because the league allowed Shaq to foul on almost every play. He played through people, not around them. Illegal and if properly called Shaq is an average big man.
Thats an absolutely insane comment. Shaq never never close to being an average big man, from his rookie year he was special. Look at the Magic's record the year before Shaq came then once he joined. He wasnt playing through people he was athletic as hell. If Shaq was just big and strong he wouldnt be near the dominant player he was. His footwork was also on another level compared to other big men. Look at the league today every advantage is given to the offense player, you are literally allowed to push your defender off you when going to the basket. @@frozendivots1564
Shaq was a walking offensive foul
Hack-a-Shack
@@frozendivots1564exacly, Shaq wouldn’t even be able to play today because he would get called for an offensive foul every possession
Shaq is my favorite player of all time. I remember seeing him play live in high school. I recall everybody in the gym being unable to understand what we were viewing.
That thumbnail got me dead 😂😂😂😂
Shaq. I don’t know how, in anyone’s mind, they can see any other center in NBA history stopping you on the court. Lmao. It’s impossible. I don’t care how many other points other centers had. They had to change the rules to even try and contain you(double team/zone rules). And they still couldn’t stop you. People are just insane.
yeah thats true but its also true that there are players more skilled than shaq and that were better defenders than him, therefore being better all around centers than him. Shaq is definitely up there cuz of his success (thanks to him, kobe and phil jackson), cuz like i said as an all around center i would take hakeem all day long before shaq but since shaq has more accolades, i gotta place him higher than hakeem.
@@luisdanielvega99 The point is that no one can stop shaq, he would get his points and create a defensive black hole in the paint, opening up all the shooters. The league literally had to change the rules to stop him, even then it only slowed the offensive scheme up a bit. So go ahead with the "skill" argument 10 times out of 10 you're going to choose Shaq out of all the centers in NBA history.
@@VonJay you would just need to foul him, plus okay lets say no one can defend shaq, yet shaq couldnt defend hakeem, he would get schooled once again. And like i said i would choose hakeem all day long, he was a better player than shaq. There is a reason still to this day players pay hakeem for lessons yet no one goes to shaq 🤷♂
@@luisdanielvega99 as said, if you drafted today you’d still take shaq because when you hack a shaq, which usually occurred at the end of a game, the team would be awarded a free throw and possession of the ball. So not only do you give shaq a chance to make a free throw, but his team will still get the ball back.
@@VonJay and like i said in todays game i would choose the more skilled player since its a league where skill thrives. I would still take hakeem 10 out of 10 times cuz he is a better rebounder than shaq, could defend the pick and roll better than shaq, could defend the 5 positions, and is a better jump shooter and lastly a better ft shooter than shaq :)
Shaq grew up in Newark same as me he knows who Dog is. He helped create modern sports radio
"WTF is that?"
"Legendary to you."

Can you imagine someone telling Shaq "well you aint a legend to me"? Dude would have the biggest meltdown lmao.
This is the first time I hear Shaq stating that he can beat Wilt and Kareem besides just looking at stats. He also mentioned he is better than Hakeem. It's about time.
Thats not exactly what he said. He said " I'll bust Kareem and Wilt's azz"😂😂
Well none of that is true he ain't better then none of them
@@IssacLemus-mk8bkPrime Shaq beats Kareem 8/10 times. Not even a debate.
I'm glad Shaq gives Wilt the respect he deserves
Shaq is right he belongs in the third spot. Nothing wrong with that.
The biggest knock on Shaq in these conversations is that his peak was a lot shorter than the others. However at his peak he was the greatest
Not better than Kareem
The most Dominant
i love shaq so much man ! nobody can argued that he is the most dominant center in nba history and the tipe of person he is he is a wonderful kid i love to used that simpatheric way to call him and he is the funniest. Way to go Big fella !
Shaq was a force of nature
As much as I love Orlando Shaq, 2000 Shaq WAS A WHOLE DIFFERENT BEAST
Ooh, lemme get on this pod Shaq!!!!
Guy looks and sounds like thanos just seated there. " THE WORK IS DONE "
Unfortunately there's no one else to blame but Shaq for his work ethic and not taking free throws seriously. With someone as athletic and coordinated as him there is no excuse to be as terrible as he was at free throws. He would be the undisputed goat if he was more efficient at the line and had stronger discipline.
I mean he blames himself as it is...He knows...But even with that...to me he's the 2nd best Center not 3rd...he would ragdoll Wilt
Only those who don't know basketball think he's undisputed, if he played any of the greats in their prime Shaq takes it hands down.
They have banned dunking in college because of Kareem, Kareem was also dunking on everybody. He created impossible shot because they tried to stop him. So stop it like other centers never had to do anything else.

2:35 “Im corporate” 😂😂😂😂
I’m crying at that part
I agree with Shaq
There was not and has not been any player past or present more dominant at the 5 than Shaq.
Shaq had height, size, strength and athleticism. My criticism of Shaq is that he didn't push himself to be a better player because he was so naturally gifted. If Shaq would have put more time in the gym working on defense, a 15 foot and in jumper and free-throws. we would be talking about him not as the greatest center but probably the greatest player all-time. Just my opinion
Shaq is great but when I think of greatest of all time means a player who can play in any era shaq was great because he was a big man who can dominate off of what they would call offensive fouls what does shaq do so great he has no foot work no post game and is not a great defender for how big he is
@jimmyramos744 I'm 53 years old and my knowledge of NBA basketball spans well over 40+ years. There is NOBODY past or present that was as physical and dominant as SHAQ. I agree he was not as refined as he should/could have been, but Shaq didn't work on his game...he used his size and natural talent to get by [and he was still great]. If Shaq would have put the work in, he would be considered one of the all-time greats if not the greatest. Shaq was unstoppable in his prime. And there has never been a more athletic big man in the NBA. Just imagine if he would have had a little better footwork; a 15 foot jumper and/or 75% from the free-throw line? He would have undoubtedly eclipsed Kareem before LeBron AND possibly won a few more rings.
Shaq is the most dominant player I’ve ever seen and I’ve been watching basketball for 30 years…no one could stop shaq he was unstoppable
Orlando Shaq was beast and overall I have him at #1. I was lucky enough to watch Shaq with the Magic at McNichols area in Denver and Kriss Kross was there for a half-time show lol.
Shaq absolutely knows who Russo is. Lol. We get it though. 😅😅
He did say that he respected him right? Or i was wrong
Orlando Shaq was running the floor, diving for lose balls..Orlando Shaq was 300lbs, pure muscle and a menace on both sides of the ball🔥🔥

Damn, does Bill Russell not exist?!?!
The 5 guys mentioned all averaged over 20ppg for their career. Moses shot 49% from the field but the other 4 shot >50%
Bill Russell averaged 15.1 PPG and shot 44% from the field. His teams won loads of titles because they had the best squads.
Russell has been mentioned as the best defensive center or even player of all time. However he got destroyed by Wilt way too many times. For example Wilt had 21 games of at least 40 points on Russell:
62, 53, 52, 50, 48, 47, 47, 46, 46, 46, 45, 45, 45, 44, 44, 43, 43, 42, 41, 41, 40 points!
Russell couldn’t score at the level of the other guys and couldn’t stop Wilt (who isn’t even considered the No1 centre by these guys). Russell might have been a great leader and winner but from an individual playing standpoint - he is not in the conversation.
Shaq! Nice glasses bro where did you get them?? I want a pair lol
Problem with Shaq is while he may act like it doesn't bother him he's still sensitive to criticism. He will still go into all his accomplishments lists and mention that he could easily beat up the Chris Russo lol.

How many bill Russell games have you watched
@Ludzig it doesn't matter how many games you watch of somebody, it's knowing the history of what they've done! Russell never got swept, he had too much heart and smarts to not out think every center...
@@BraylanAtkinson-jq5ryRussell also had 8 hall of famers on his team
The only challenger to Shaq at center was Kareem. The Cap's skyhook was un-defendable, but Shaq is also undefendable in the paint. Wilt was playing against diminutive semi-pros throughout his career.
Shaq if he truly dedicated himself could have been the GOAT. He was an unstoppable force and even then I truly think he left some of his potential on the table. That's absolutely insane to even say. Shaq himself said he was overweight and still was a force. So from his own admission, so that's what I mean about truly dedicating himself. Wilt vs Shaq! Would be great to see. I don’t think we can judge people outside of the era they are in. I think If there had been more good athletes would have raised his game. It’s impossible to say. Both Great. Wilt, Legendary, Shaq, he double toppings !!!!
I see nothing wrong with that list other then Moses Malone. They make it seem like the dude listed a bunch of bums and said they were better than Shaq. You could take Kareem, Wilt, Olajuwon, and Shaq and shuffle them around in any order and find an argument for any combination that comes out.
All that lacked in Orlando was discipline for sure
I just cant rock with the use of stats
Hakeem was better than shaq though. Dude was a 1 man wrecking crew on both sides of the ball. He was a monster
Wilt in his prime is debatable. He was extremely strong. So I have to disagree with Shaq on that. Curry. I don't see him playing in the hand check era, because the defender would make Curry less mobile compared to today's players. Hand check allowed the defender to control the direction the player moved. Regarding Shaq using the free throw argument. The same can apply to Wilt's scoring record being better, because Wilt was also a terrible free throw shooter. And Wilt has too many records that still hasn't been broken. And the loud mouth guy who's name escape me. Who tried to use the players were a foot shorter than Wilt. That myth has been debunked. During Wilt Chamberlain prime years. The average height was the exact same as today. Wilt also played several 7 footer players before Kareem. And one was taller than him. The average center height during his prime was 6 feet 10. That's around the average height for a center today. The fact is. Wilt was both dominant, agile and athletic.
Better hand check curry at 3/4 court
@@tomrobinson199 Pippen use to lock down players as soon as the ball was inbound. This made it very difficult for players to be mobile. Kobe in his prime, use to do the same. Curry would be no different. But like Pippen said. They don't allow that type of defense anymore

Smartest thing shaq ever said orlando shaq was a beast. Yes lakers shaq was a beast too, but orlando shaq was just diffrent. Ppl talk about peaks and credit this monster with only 3-4 years of peak. Shaqs peak was year 1 to year 11. He came into the league a monster like no other, his worst year in his first 14 years was his rooky year, where he avraged 24 points top 10 in the leaufe 14 rebounds 3.5 blocks, and almost 60% shooting, ohh yeah and took the magic from 20 wins to 41 wins, missing the playoffs by a tie breaker to the pacers. What did mj do? Ill answer that he got spanked untill air jorden shies started selling like crazy and the nba decided to change the rules and still needed cheating to make him win.
I was a Spurs fan during Shaqs most dominant run. That guy was unstoppable and it didn't even feel fair to have him in the league. Nobody has ever been that dominant at their peak.
Tim Duncan easily stopped both Shaq and Kobe in 03, which is the second greatest playoff run of all time, the greatest playoff run of all time is Nikola Jokic with the Nuggets.
My first time seeing this guy in Mc Donald all American game was (He ain’t 18 😂) biggest blackest fastest guy I’ve ever seen, I knew he would be a problem for any center in the league, I’ve seen Kareem, but wasn’t in awe of the guy, Moses was decent but wasn’t Shaq, and I keep saying Wilt would’ve been too small even at his heaviest weight, Shaq was a real damn beast😂😂😂😂
Until now i dont think anyone can guard shaq in his prime. Shaq played in an era of great centers, even on that era he still dominated.
First off... It's a damn team game. Second Shaq vs Wilt or Moses is GREASY AF!!! Unfortunately we can only think about it. Thanks for the memories, I used to love Basketball and the Internet is making it worse, which will continue to increase
