This is great, when you re-apply it be aware that with liquid metal you are supposed to apply to both surfaces rather than just one so that it makes good contact, makes a huge diff :)
Hi guys ! I did reapply a good thermal paste to my MacBook Air 2019 and applied thermal pads. I also did remove the black sticker on the back plate as it is an insulator. It absolutely saved my MacBook and now it runs 10-20 degrees cooler. Fans don’t kick in every time I watch a video and I finally am able to open multiple tabs !!! I want to thank this creator and everyone else on the internet for helping with their guides. It may seem daunting but is worth it !! Cheers mates 🎉
Liquid metal is dangerous, it can react strongly with aluminum! The macbook shell is aluminum alloy. There must be risks in this. Not only that, but it may leak out of the radiator gap due to improper control! You know, the macbook's motherboard is very densely integrated. It is easy to cause short circuit damage to the circuit board due to leakage.😱
@@GlenQuagmire-dj9wscurious have you recently with last year opened up the internals to review the CPU and the Liquid Metal state? Did you use thermal paste or pads to act as a barrier to keep it contained?
@@danielwillitzer7220 I haven’t opened it back up since I applied the Liquid Metal because my performance hasn’t dropped at all over the years. To contain it to just the cpu and gpu die I put electric tape around the cpu and gpu to protect it and I think it’s worked hasn’t had an issue

Been running Liquid Metal for 2 years in my mbp no issues calling it dangerous is silly
