Chris shares some news stories about a young football player going viral because of his name, Pat McAfee accusing an ESPN executive of sabotage, Tiger Woods leaving Nike, and North Carolina car thieves.
Lastly, Cheryl Burke joins the show and she and Adam share memories from their time on Dancing with the Stars. Cheryl also talks about a few of her former dance partners like Emmitt Smith, Cristián de la Fuente, and D.L. Hughley

I didn't even know the Golden Globes happened until the memes showed up.
Only heard 2-3 songs of Swift's music. All sounds cookie-cutter Disney synth pop to me and just like 99% of other songs out there. She was a knockout 10 years ago but now she just looks like every 30ish 3rd girl at a CA mall. If KC doesn't get to the SB this year, pretty sure the KC fans are going to be tired of their "Taylor" good luck charm, her RBF attitude and caring what she thinks.
taylor swifts career is 100% built upon all the fake girl power wave from 2012-on and her handlers know how to manipulate the master algorithms to make her a megastar in a disposable world. she will age out, nobody will care what she thinks anymore, shell still be single, and losing her mind, billions or not in the bank. fake ppl with questionable talent always get exposed, eventually.
She tried to sing Def Leppard's 'Hysteria' back in 2015 and fell flat on her face. Sounded like a 12yo boy going through puberty trying to sing in the shower. Without all the autotune and all the flashy stagecraft, people would realize what a hollow no-talent Taylor Swift really is. God bless her though make all the money you can, girl.
Just watched this, and I’m late to the party, but Sarah can be on everyday and I’d be very happy.
Sarah is REALLY funny. She was great on that show Spade had on comedy central.
They all watched the Golden Globes except Adam why could they not tell him Joy Koy’s Anti White jokes was what pissed people off instead they pussyfooted around it

Just saw Adam's standup live during his visit to Phoenix this past weekend; he was GREAT....literally laughing out loud non-stop....he's at the top of his game and no one better for my dollar!

Awards are now so political that merit is no longer the main purpose, so most people have lost interest. The rot started a long time ago. When "worthy" films started getting Oscars purely for sentimental reasons , on Top of that Hollywood is no longer very glamorous or emotionally appealing , Actors whine too much and are very self Reverential

I’ve always thought that Joe Koy was only mildly funny at best. He’s a one trick pony. He’s either bashing Caucasians for something or self deprecating with regards to Asian or Philippine culture. That’s only funny so many times.
Then you only watched his clips.

John Hiatt is for people who can't handle John Wait's darkness, don't have the attention span to listen to 1970's Randy Newman on piano for 5 minutes, and need the chords strummed on a guitar with snappy piccolo snare-punctuated drums, to be able to digest the lyrics/music. Love 85% of Adam's Boomer musical tastes but he has some glaring blind spots that always persist.

I consider Billy Crystal is a nice guy, but I have seen his openings he did for his award shows in the 90's and 2000's and his jokes are still funny as long as you know the time period.

I think to have any chance at hosting these award shows you either need to be a talk show host, because at that point you kinda know and have met 80%-90% of the people in the audience, so you’ve kinda developed a rapport to roast them, or you can’t give a isht like Ricky Gervais.

I agree with Adam about ESPN sports talk shows. I find it interesting that all of them have demeaning nicknames for the women on the programs. None of the men or women on these shows seem to know anything. I think they just say things to provoke conversation. It is all about sensationalism and not about spreading truth about the sports.

There's a football player (college, I think? Might play for a FL school?) Whose actual name is Darn Tootin. The announcer had to say " That was a good toutchdown Darn Tootin! I figure he's tough because it was either that, or get your ass kicked from grade school through high school.
My friends and I used to call it "take a drink" when someone made a lame joke. Everyone at the table would reach for their glasses to signal a crappy joke and that became a funnier joke on it's own.
It started as the polite way to not laugh and turned into the worse possible result for bombing.
