- Doctor Stephen Cosentino explains and demonstrates how to inject the Forehead region with Botox® Cosmetic in a male vs a female patient which is one of the most challenging. There are many "pearls" we teach at the Botox Training program but I believe this is one of the more important ones because this procedure is so commonly performed incorrectly.

the "spok" eyebrow is actually quiet beautiful when executed correctly. Also i have to disagree with his idea of symmetry, the face itself is no symmetrical, so in theory one cannot accurately administer the same amount of injection on either side of the face plane. One side of the face muscled may be stronger than the other. You have to have the patient flex their muscles to know where to go and where not to go. Also agreed men take more units(most of the time) than women(nature of the muscle composition).
Dr. Robinson, that is an excellent point for sure. It is not so simple on the first visit to achieve that symmetry because the muscles may respond differently on each side which may prevent the injector from achieving the desired effect. A suggestion would be to document the amount of Botox used on each side and then on return visit you can evaluate the result and know for future visits how much the person will need.

if someone goes ahead and has botox only around the eyes..how long do the wrinkles last until the next botox? or is it a one time shot!!!!!
wrinkles come back once the Botox wears off. you have to keep getting Botox every couples of months to keep the wrinkles away

Do you charge for the second visit or is it included in the price of the first session?
If u charge per area it’s usually included up to the max amount of units allowed for that area. If u charge per unit the second visit is a separate charge based on how much u charge per unit once again

yeah but gym and haircut didt reduce ur face wrinkles when u r on expression. those takes 2-5 days to react so u can see the results after 2-5 days after injection

Yes! You don’t touch the bumps at all, you don’t want to spread the botox. The bumps are very normal and will disappear in a few hours.

yes, if it's on lethal dose. but those are for cosmetics dose. its only 100 units, and the lethal dose could be thousands units of them.
even just water can be dangerous on lethal dose on ur body

First time I went well I went today they gave me 14 units they were $10 a unit and I saw right away really nice results they told me not to look down with my head and only lay down but now it looks worse than what I went in with so how many days would it take for them to actually start showing I mean that you think I need to go back

They make You wait 14 days. Cause that’s how long it could take. Most don’t. But they make You wait. It’s silly. I do my own Botox now an it’s a game changer

Botox takes 3-5 days to paralyze the muscle and soften wrinkles. It does not work immediately.
