This was a REALLY good draft. I think that you're not counting on ONE thing. DQ liked smaller, lighter defensive ends. Zimmer doesn't necessarily have the same. He may have a use for Junior Fehoko and Chauncey Gholston. But everything else was spot on. This is optimal draft
Honestly probably for the better DQ accomplished a lot but one of the things that bothered me the most other than him playing a zone in the playoff game was his propensity to use undersized edge rushers and lbs. At times it felt like we had 5 safeties and no lbs.
I think you've laid out the best case scenario for the Cowboys. The only change I would make is not wanting to move Tyler out from OG, since he's an all-pro at that position, so I would personally prefer Morgan there. But trading back makes a lot of sense for the Cowboys in the first round. Assuming we target OL in that round, most mocks leave a number of good prospects on the board for us at 24, so we might as well trade slightly down and get some other good value. Malachi Corley looks like a great prospect as well, I feel like a lot of small-school receivers can go under the radar and fall to the second or third day.

Let’s hope they can land an RB in the draft atm Pollard signed w Titans and cowboys are showing no indication of pursuing Aaron Jones or Derick Henry. They’ll need to address the RB need alongside OT, DT, LB & WR.

All the mock drafts I have done with pfn had JPJ drafted anywhere from 16 to 20.
I’d take Benson in the 2nd and a LB in the 3rd- Tevon Wallace or Payton Wilson if he’s there
Tvondre sweat would’ve been my pick at 56 but I like Wilson’s upside. Not really interested in the 1st round pick either with worthy on the board. I’m hoping they address OL in FA so we could have worthy 😩
