This much-loved hymn is based on a poem sung to a Swedish traditional melody. Carl Gustav Boberg (1859-1940) is the author of the original poem that ended up as this hymn. We felt that the grandeur of Alaska was fitting for one of the most powerful and profound hymns of all time. We trekked to 3 epic locations - a raging river, a peaceful forest glade, and we even hiked up to an alpine mountain top! We hope that this newest offering will whisk you away to a place of complete peace and serenity.
Our interpretation of the timeless classic hymn "How Great Thou Art" is dedicated to Peter "Poppa" Antos.

I knew an old American WWII naval aviator veteran, and this was his favorite hymn. It was played a who flew recon missions in the F6F-5P Hellcat. His only kill was when he shot down a kamikaze aircraft making a run on a destroyer, possibly saving dozens of lives. This hymn was played at his funeral. Rest in Glory and peace, Frank. Heroes do not die

It has a more joyful tone than I’d expect from a typical hymn; it’s so full of light and hope. Of all the hymns, this one is the most beautiful! Not only did I love it, I was pleasantly surprised that such a special musical genre as hymn can be so wonderfully performed on the harp with such a beautiful vocal. For me, hymns are music for special occasions, or as a dedication to a person or an important event, like a celebration of a hard-fought victory; that is not music for pleasure. However, this rendition by Camille and Kennerly turns the hymn into a beautiful song for any occasion, and the most important - the video footage of Alaska's stunning nature closely bonded with and follows the lyrics! There’s even a thunderstorm! I rate this masterpiece 10 stars out of 10!
