I had one of these for a few years. Mine had the Vance and Hines slash cut drag pipes on it instead. It also had a chrome luggage rack with hand made rack bag and front fork bag that were the same color as the seat. Also had 6 inch pullback t-bars that didn't allow the headlight cowl to be on it. Which was unfortunate. The lady I bought it from didn't know what her late husband did with it. So that was a bummer. I miss that bike very much. Always a head tuner everywhere I went. Beautiful!
Can't imagine what Dale had in his collection before he sold everything, must of been impressive.

I've got a stock DWG 2000 model in the factory purple and a 2001 DWG which has a custom pinstripe paint job so I was thinking of making a rat chopper out of the black one and keeping the purple one stock as it's only the 2nd one i've seen on the road here, mind you it has some stone chips etc as they do get ridden. love them! Wouldn't mind a CVO version but out of my price range....yours is a beautiful example though!

This is a very nice bike. Nothing looks cheap or inferior on it. It sounds awesome as well. I would totally buy it if I lived in the US.

I worked at the York PA plant in 2001 I powder coated the frames on the bikes and did final inspections on them as a quality technician .
We’re they known as Switchblades back then?

bought one brand new in 2001. rode it for a few years. IRS was after me for some bad decisions I made learning to run a new business and investments at 41 yrs old. Sold it to pay off the IRS!
What is the WORST HARLEY MOTOR EVER CREATED IN THE LAST 25 years ?
Carbureted engine, last year. You can get that idle low and nasty. NO modern CVO can touch the workmanship, and quality components. No shit they are investment grade iron.
