With Opelka being in good shape this is one of those second round matches that should not happen that early on in a grand slam but due to ranking it does. Tough draw for both players.
You and a lot of likes don't want to see interesting encounters early on? Prefer some cannon fodder knowing their place and humbly move aside for the big names. Machac still needs to establish himself more and Opelka just returned from a long hiatus so to me its great clash with Djokovic waiting on the other side.
@ he’s been injured for ages and lots of players peak around his age, in fact most do. He also beat Djokovic the other week, he’s playing at a really high level.
Opelka tiene un saque imparable,40 Aces nunca he visto tantos en un partido, lastima las 16 doble faltas pero este hombre sacando es el mejor o de los mejores
@@ouss its not a matter of being a supporter or not. I like Nole and how he plays but realistically he is going to have a tough time against a seeded player almost 15 years younger who's been playing very well recently
It was a great match! Opelka has powerful strokes, but due to his height, he lacks agility on the court. Additionally, his stamina is somewhat limited. By the time the match reached the fifth set, I was convinced that Machac would win.

I hope Opelka will have a good season , in the shape he is right now he can climb the rankings in the bat of an eye

@@diederik1191you completely missed the point on what he’s saying. Quality wise this was like a R16 or even QF match.
@@MichaeITheGreat how many slam quarters riley been to lol

Opelka has started this year just awesome. Hopefully it will be even better next year!
No he won't! In order to come back to the top you need to have an all round game, something Opelka does NOT have...
Reilly Opelka run out of gas towards the end of the fifth set.
4th set.

Skvělý výkon, skvělá výhra. Těšíme se, co bude dál.
Incredible performance, winning two tie-breaks against Big Reilly
I see Nole struggling against Machac. I would not be surprised if there will be an upset
If he doesn't cramp, he can win it. Djokovic already spent 6 hours on court in first two rounds, not the start he was probably hoping for.
These 2 are big Nole supporters i see...

@ That's for him to worry about,
just relax and enjoy the GOAT while he is still playing
He can trouble Djokovic so long as he doesn’t end up beating himself mentally or physically as he often does.
Les deux looks sympa les plus improbables du moment
Two nice guys
Beautiful match
it looked like David and Goliath😳, no offense 👏🏻technique, strength and skill👏🏻
Great player
Great win
This guy is very likable
Эээх жаль,так хотелось на опелку побольше посмотреть(
Well done to the guy in the nappy. I think Machac is going to be a pretty good player.
Nappy 😂😂😂 well done

If you look quick, that pink cap make Opelka look bald on top with crazy side growth a la Frasier season 1. What a serve tho
David and Goliath. Will be good to see Mahach against the other young guns. Men's tennis is getting exiting
👏👏👏👏 Machac j adore ce joueur 🎾🥎💙💙💙😄
Get in! Cracking win for Machac!
this was one of those matches where had OPelka won in 3 sets, ppl would be hyping his duel with Novak
David and Goliath
Questo slam lo vincerà al Alcaraz
Nooooo! My big king!
Davide e Golia
we want to see break points not boring 40:15 points
David vs Golia.
Big man's size didn't suit 5 sets.
🇺🇲 male player hasn't won a Slam since 2003 (Roddick, US Open), that's 21 years ago! 😧
I wonder which opponent Djokovic would have preferred to play against.
Probaly machaz opelka has confindence he was beating nole on jard courts couple of weeks ago
@@KenanZlatic-mt6wd i doubt he would beat him again again in 5 setter... Machac is much tougher opponent for Djoko here
I think Opelka was insured right at the start of the match...
Win in the next round vs who you know.
😂 David vs Golia
David just beat Goliath!! 😅
woohoo!
If keeps this up Machac might be able to afford an adult pair of shorts.
uff...
Why that nappy, bro? Come one, be serious
someone buy Machac a longer pant
Ahahahhahahahah😂😂
That's funny.
Who cares 😅
Tomáš Macháč😂
Mahac doing Novak a favour. Bravo kid.
Bro Machac is obviously gonna give trouble to Novak as he has beaten him last year but it was on clay in Geneva
both Opelka and Machac can have possibilities to defeat Novak
@@Sanjeev-j7t Clay is Novak’s worst surface. And BO5 is where he’s better than most of his rivals.
@Sanjeev-j7t Nole was acting weird. He bageled him in the second set and then gave up the 3rd set... he wanted to get to the FO 😂
🤍🎾
Mahach road to semi final
The servebot lost and the tennis player won. Good result
Opelka has good groundstrokes too!
Opelka actually has a good game beyond the serve.
@@matthewwilliams3827 it is impossible to win against Novak when your groundstrokes are not on highest level
serve is literally the most important stroke in tennis...
If opelka could run… probably he would be top 3
Machac beats Djokovic in 4
BRAVO ZDENEK MACHAC . GOOD WORK !!!
Actually, his 1st name is Tomáš ;)
