After watching the re-release of Manichithrathazhu, I felt that this film did not get the international acclaim it deserved..See this film discuss various subjects such as loneliness, superstitions,complexities of the human mind,Questionable Reality,Paranormal Undertones, Psychology, friendship,most of which other remakes failed to convey. Truly a gem

2) police are selected if they from khastrya community (in Hindu context who protector or warrior community ) , in this movie they abuse normal people
3) there is a pujari who is trying to kill the alien using a Hindu ceremony
4) climax a gang comes and fights the innocent alien , the gang name is Vibuthi
