I managed it last night. Thankfully they're generous with the checkpoints in this particular fight. You get a check point after the missile fight portion so you can always restart. But this chapter is the WORST if you're going for pure plat, even on normal because of that awful rail shooter portion before this.
i really hope Bayo 3 has more fights like this, Bayo 2’s Balder fights felt worse because you always need to rely on Witch Time to hit him since he parries and dodges too much in harder difficulties, you almost can’t even hit him with Umbran Climax

It's a movie cobbled together. After they jump off the missile for the final phase of the fight you see Bayonetta's magic goes from 6 spheres to completely full. This fight is not one seamless one.

Played this game for the first time this year. Was surprised to find that Normal was the hardest difficulty. Was even more surprised to find that Normal was the equivalent of Dante must die. Somehow I faired better against bosses. Except this one. She folded me multiple times.

PPKP isn't a floor spin kick. PPPKP is the combo you're referring to but PPKP will still result in a ground weave.
