Hi from Japan. I appreciate your using the double-view, split screen. It's (almost) better than watching in person! Thank you for your generosity in sharing your videos with us.
Excuse me for being personal master, The lines that your fingers made as you let the clay rise where so beautiful. Naturally the shape at the end shows your mastery. The beauty is throughout its creation. Thank you.
I just started learning pottery and have difficulty with lifting tall wall, thank you so much for sharing this. There is so much more to learn from your channel, 谢谢老师!
Very, very good video. I'm new to pottery. Have had four lessons. My problem is that when I attempt to heighten the pottery, it becomes wobbly and usually breaks near the bottom.
I wasn’t planning to trim the foot, so there no need to use a chuck. If you watch my previous video on making tall thin pieces I did use chucks, stacked up chucks.
Thank you for posting another amazing video. When I pull up, I get to about 25cm, but then can't go any higher, no matter how many times I pull up, even though there is still plenty of clay at the base. Any ideas why?

You are welcome!
Also, thanks so, so much for showing both angles. [Top and regular views] So helpful.
You are one of our best teachers! Thank you for all of your videos.
Beautiful work!!
So satisfying to see you patiently stacking and easing microscopic plates of clay up and into that complete perfect curve. Thank you very much.

Thank you.
These beautiful and perfect lines are amazing, as always.
Another good one. I have found your pulling style is much more stable and efficient.

Fantastic! You are always so inspirational! Thank you for showing 🙋🏻♀️
This is one very special beautiful bottle, perfect shape and balance
Why do you not have a pug mill? it would save a lot of work.
This is beautiful. I don’t throw with porcelain much so it is wonderful to see.

Great explanation! 👍🏻✨ This will definitely help me on my next attempt. Thanks!
excellent...very helpful.... thank you for sharing
谢谢老师的分享! 🥳
The amount of distortion you are able to make while pulling I think would cut right through a stoneware. Perhaps I should try pushing those limits.
What stoneware do you use? If you haven’t yet you should try Laguna’s b-mix
@@marcosordonez5870 My local pottery shop makes all their own clays and I've tried 4 or 5 of their stonewares. I haven't tried Laguna B Mix.
Do you use an extra tall chuck to trim a piece like that? Or when you said trim later you meant at the end of throwing while wet.

did you add bentonite to make the clay elastic?
No, I don’t. They all come with premixed. Usually people don’t add bentonite to make the clay plastic instead they add ball clay.

Try my way of pulling. Watch video # 506
@@hsinchuen Thanks!
How many lbs of clay?
He says it was 6lbs in the trimming video for this bottle.
