    It's a 1099 independent contractor no shit...who doesn't get that , really should stay working for a boss.
    All you do is track milage, gas, expenses
    And no you don't make less really, if you know how to write everything off ! Taxes are not that bad.
    You set 25-30 percent aside for taxes to be very safe.

    Exactly what I wanted to know. Thanks for making this video! There's countless other videos out there letting people know what different tasks are like but none deal with the financials and liabilities. Thanks again.

      I definitely agree with you. I NEED TO LOOK MORE INTO how it affects my taxes in my state

    Thank you for getting to the point about this app. I was looking into it, but I think I changed my mind.

    Jack Rabbit!...loll....Agree with you 100%. When you run your own business, you have to do the paperwork, i.e. especially accounting and taxation. Great video on the pitfalls of running your own business...

    If you need to have business liability insurance, I think that's too much financial investment for average people. As a 1099 contractor, if it complicates up your tax, and you need to get a CPA, then that's gonna be extra cost. It seems like taskrabbit is for people who are self-employment oriented

    So it's a 1099 Misc. form for taxes, correct?

      I believe so, but it helps to speak with an accountant.

Only asking because I normally work virtual and clients keep sending request for certain services that needs to be physical. If you are located in Maryland or Virginia let me know. Thanks 😊

    So would something like data entry… that requires business liability insurance?

    • @lifewithmandn928
      @lifewithmandn928  2 года назад

      Yes, as you are not an employee. It is unlikely, but what if the business you did data entry came back to you because the input was wrong and it lost them money. You want liability insurance to cover you in those unlikely scenarios.

    How do you know when you have been paid?

    • @lifewithmandn928
      @lifewithmandn928  2 года назад +1

      It sends you a notification and then there is a 5 day or so holding period before you are paid to your bank account.

    Do you really need to explain to people what an independent contractor is? I was wanting to know what it's like to work for Task Rabbit, not about tax and insurance laws. This video is clickbait.
