Thanks for the info. I’ll get the app. I kept seeing ads for handy. And man, lots of guys said stay away! Some how it led to task Eddie from New Jersey
handy is also an app who collects money from customers for a service and does not pay the people that go out and do the job its a scam i filed a police report .I worked one week and i cant get my 500 dollars or my tips it's a scam
Yo I am a licensed locksmith and just started taskrabbit. I only want to do locksmith tasks, I see you do electrical- do clients still ask you other stuff? I don’t wanna do nothing else
Nesto, how far do you usually drive? How far a drive makes it both worth it for the job you do? I am thinking about this on weekends. I work maintenance for ALDI. I do electrical work, plumbing, repair and can figure out just about anything. I have a newish (2015) pick up as well as a 12’ trailer and tools to do just about anything. My goal is extra money to buy a Harley Davidson motorcycle. Can you make decent money just working weekends?
I have a small hatchback so i dont have a problem driving to the city. And once im there i usually have more than 1 job. If i had a bigger truck id probably do a 2 hour minimum charge. You draw a map of your work area, so you can make it as big or small as you want. You have the experience and equipment to make great money just the weekends.
Nesto, i drive to the city during the week for work, so getting out there for me is no problem, especially on the weekend mornings with no traffic. But my stores are all on the south side. I imagine the money to be made is in the guero neighborhoods in the north side. Would you consider me riding with you for a day so I can get a feel for it. I don’t know if that’s even allowed. But i see that you have found success at this. I would be willing to help you with your jobs for a full day with no expectation of payment. The only thing I would ask is for your help setting up my profile and you giving me advise during the day navigating the app as well as tips on what you have done to reach your level of success. Hit me up, let me know.
Ismael Haro sign up asap because i dont know how long it takes for them to accept you. And if you change your mind you can just delete the app. Make your service area most of chicago and try it out for a while to see where you get the most jobs from and adjust your map. Yeah your not allowed to bring people that arnt taskers. but get an account first ill give you some tips on your profile.
Just so you, I’m legit. I have a good job with great benefits and work 10 hours or more of overtime a week. But when I see that you get $51 an hour on your jobs, that is serious cash for a side hustle. I make $27 per hour with ALDI and overtime comes to about $40/hour. I’m not looking to replace my job, cuz i love what i do. It’s a pretty sweet gig. But like i said before. Looking to get a Harley and I don’t like paying for toys with the money from my 9-5. I’m not a freak and I’m not a scammer. Just want to learn what you do. It kinda sounds too good to be true.
Hey bro , im doint assembly for like $25 an hour and mounting for $25 an hr, i feel like im basically working for free man, how can i get on your level charging $50 an hr?
100% positive reviews, professional pitch and profile pic. Quality Businesss photos of your work. prompt responses. communicating with the client on everything. Theres no boss telling you when you can get a raise, you can set your rate to $50 an hour right now
Danny the handyman 15% more than your rate. And thats the rate the client sees. Then on top of that they charge the customer another 15% of the total in “trust and support” fees. So they end up making 30%
@@nestoworks3402 thanks for a reply, looks like taskrabbit is not in my area, but its ok im doing ok without, and sometimes can get more with a flat pricing

Just change your rates and wait to get booked. Some people dont want cheap work.
I know a lot of Temp jobs that will only pay $11 for heavy manual labor in moving, no thank you!
Thank you for this video!!
Hey man I’m planing to sign up . My question is . Do they charge 9 dollars to what ever rate you put your hourly rate?
Danny the handyman 15% more than your rate. And thats the rate the client sees. Then on top of that they charge the customer another 15% of the total in “trust and support” fees. So they end up making 30%
Nesto Works ah I see. thanks man I’m going to give it a try !
Hey man, im just looking into this app, do u get paid while traveling or does a time starts when u show up?
Task starts when you arrive. But youre free to work something out with the client as long as they agree. Like a 2 hour minimum
