I've been there and if there is a heaven on Earth, it's landscapes like those ...Nature in all her breathtaking beauty. Bryce, the Great Sand Dunes (where I had an out of body experience - lol probably just heat stroke), the Red Rocks... I listened to this, Jean luc Ponty, Genesis, Marscape, Isotope, Bill Bruford among others. There was this one narrow road in Utah, you looked left, a huge plummet, look right another huge plummet. But don't look left nor right because the road curved and well, you would plummet to your death.

Bought the LP in Leeds, (Yorkshire)... in 1986 and it's still one of my most favourite albums ever. Pierre Moerlen in northern Ireland with his mates. An excellent production!

Yes. Maybe it was because Pierre Moerlen played on Mike Oldfield's Incantations album the year before. Also. Mike Oldfield played on the title song from Moerlen's previous album, Downwind.
Pierre Moerlen died unexpectedly on 3 May 2005, aged 52, of natural causes. At the time of his death he was rehearsing with a new incarnation of Pierre Moerlen's Gong.
CD release is compressed , less dynamics! Get the LP for well balanced sound , the CD has more mids but less highs , which means in summary quite annoying , you cannot play it at high playback levels! (hurts the ears)
