Great video man! Btw, refering to that correlation between distorted audio with some games: from my personal experience I think that anytime that you change from a game to another without closing every open application from the Android multitasking menu, the games you are about to play just have worst performance and audio gets distorted most of the time. So from now on I totally close Yuzu anytime I wanna play another game, and the next time I open the app the game goes flawless even MarioKart! Can someone tell me if this happens to him too?
I have a problem in dark souls, after passing the first part, after eliminating the Boss and being transported by the giant crow, the game becomes blurry. I love your channel and I also have an Odin 2 pro
The base is probably enough for everything you want to do. I went with the base but I actually regret it. Not for ram actually since I haven’t run into an issue where I didn’t have enough ram. But for $70 more I could have gotten double the internal storage. With the size of these texture packs (which must be installed in internal) that makes a big difference. Especially with how annoying it is to move them into dolphin. I can save textures for Ps2 on the SD and move them to internal when I want to use them. So that’s how I’ve been doing it. But the pro would have made it much easier for me. But. If you don’t care about custom textures for PS2, GameCube, and Wii. Then the base should be fine.
Ahhh no Nier Automata. Are there not save states available with the yuzu emulator? Are PC games not a possibility for the Odin 2, maybe someday? Perhaps it's a whole different Odin model that would do it in the future. These things are going to be giving valve a bit of a run for their money! 😮

I've not researched if core members of the Arkham games stayed with the Suicide Squad development or left. What is strange though is the director of the Arkham games, Sefton Hill, did not direct SS and was for some reason a writer, SS has 3 directors for some reason. And SS has completely different writers to the Arkham games which explains the drastically different characters and story. It's a real shame and I wonder what the story is there, because something definitely went wrong early on.
It's the screen protector that came with my order from Indiegogo, I think it was planned to have some light sensor or something but yeah that notch in the protector is completely useless lol.
Buying an Odin 2 Mini over an Odin 2 is literally for a smaller device with a brighter screen, there's no difference in power but it also has worse speakers and a smaller battery.
@@GoogleHelpYou Oh since the Odin 2 came out like 7/8 months ago people would say all you need is the Base, which is what I've also said. The Pro and Max are just more storage and RAM, and some colour options (you didn't say Max so I'm assuming you're just thinking about the Mini but it doesn't matter). The Pro and Max will barely help with Switch emulation besides arguably a handful of games that already are hard to run anyway because the Switch emulators are either dead or dying on Android. Pro and Max users will tell you Winlator is where it's at, but I think it's copium tbh. If you goal is to play PC games on a handheld, just get a Steam Deck or something.
Yeah nothing changes it just updates the emulator like it would installing the APK yourself, it just grabs it for you and deletes the APK after. Just makes the whole process simpler.
Oh no the Legion Go is way more powerful haha. It's best to assume off the bat that Switch emulation on Windows is going to be better than Android, even with a powerful device like the Odin 2.

for the odin 2 should we use the turnip v17 a750 release or r17 release? The odin has the a740 so I'm unsure...
R17 Release
@@danielpg273cool
i ended up trying both and if you have one or the otherother installed and try to do the other one it will say it’s already installed. I ended up deleting and running the A750 one and it runs great! 🤷🏻♂️ i’ll try r17 on a couple here today though
the Cubeb audio fixes a lot of games with good fps but audio stuttering. Skyward sword and bowsers fury
Do you believe the Odin 2 will eventually be able to play the games full speed in docked mode to get that full experience?
Yeah I do think one day that will be totally possible. It's all down to the emulator, but I'm not completely sure if the additional ram in the Pro and Max models will be important down the line.
thats why i bought the max@@-roetaka
how to play diablo III in yuzu?
Hi, just wondering does Drastic load from Pegasus? If so, can you share your metafile. It doesn't appear to be opening games for me.
I think the one I'm using is in here, I linked this in my first odin video I think: www.mediafire.com/file/mg94a6jx6ece42o/Odin_2_Metadata_Files_For_Pegasus.rar/file
Thanks for that! Mine has the same parameters but for some reason it just opens Drastic and not the actual rom :(@@-roetaka
One last question if you don't mind me asking. Do you have a separate folder for android where you keep your meta file? And I was wondering what are those ".and" files you have in there?
SCRATCH MY PREVIOUS COMMENT IT WORKS NOW THANK YOU. Still have the q: re android files though if you don't mind me asking :)

about batman: i don't think that is a good version of the game, it has so many negatives reviews and also, about rocksteady, the one who made suicide squad is not the same rocksteady we love
Which version of yuzu you are using on this video? because they release a version 2 hours ago...
AAAAAAND IT'S GONE
Were i found the qualcon drivers?
It's in the video description but here you go: github.com/K11MCH1/AdrenoToolsDrivers/releases/
only game , don't working is shinmegami tensei V
Not bad doesnt run as good as my ally but i bet the battery life is better
O meu e o base poderia me fornecer os drivers
What is the notch on the left side of the bazel? I don't see it on other odin 2's
It's the screen protector that came with my order from Indiegogo, I think it was planned to have some light sensor or something but yeah that notch in the protector is completely useless lol.
@-roetaka haha that's funny, well It makes it look even more high end 😄
Es odin 2 o 1?
can you do pokken?
Hey Roe, could you share the link for the odin discord 🙏🏿
discord.gg/ayn
@@-roetaka it's saying that the link is expired, or invalid 😔
Wait, if Odin 2 Base can already play Totk, so there is no need for a Odin 2 Pro Mini
Buying an Odin 2 Mini over an Odin 2 is literally for a smaller device with a brighter screen, there's no difference in power but it also has worse speakers and a smaller battery.
@@-roetaka The point is whether there is a need to buy a Base or Pro version
@@-roetaka If Pro and Max won't grant you better Switch emulation, then what's the extra RAM for?
@@-roetaka Have you not heard of Uzuy Edge, Ziunx?
Does obtanium keep your safe files after yuzu got updated?
Yeah nothing changes it just updates the emulator like it would installing the APK yourself, it just grabs it for you and deletes the APK after. Just makes the whole process simpler.
@@-roetaka thank you
is this machine better switch emulation thank the Legion Go ?
Oh no the Legion Go is way more powerful haha. It's best to assume off the bat that Switch emulation on Windows is going to be better than Android, even with a powerful device like the Odin 2.
@@-roetaka your a Legend
hi you can try FIFA 23 yuzu on this console Ayn odin thank you
What is that front end you use?
Pegasus
Have you tried Metroid Prime on JIT?
I might have a long time ago but can't remember the performance
I play it on JIT and its fine. I can see in some areas it felt like the game was going to crash but it kept on working. I thought NCE would be an issue but I will give it a shot.@@-roetaka
yoooo whats with that PS badge lol ain't that copywriter?
Haha nope it's just a decoration.
Does it work well with Nier Automata yet?
Nope, there have been improvements but I think it'll be months before it's what I'd call playable.
Uhhhmmm... Metroid Prime worked perfectly before without any graphical issues lol (just know how)
Well it works even better with NCE now so it is an improvement, people complained about memory leaks before
@@-roetaka yeah it did crash at the exact same spot you mentioned but there was a solution even before, you just had to change some settings and it would tank the fps at some special points (doors like the first one) but would run at 60fps 98% of the time. I just hope they will fix Bayonetta soon 😥
Temperature??
Under 75 is all I can say. The odin 2 will cpu throttle if it hits that point. Depends largely on the game, but it doesnt often run that too hot.
In my experience turning force max clocks off keeps the temp typically to around a max of 50C. It does impact performance in harder to run titles though
Tbh it doesn't even cross my mind because I don't feel it getting hot.
@@-roetaka I don't feel it get hot either unless I touch the screen afterwards/during. Battery life with that setting turned off though has been miles better for me
Yes I keep it off as well
Well, I prefer playing switch games on switch oled ….
I know you guys buy this device for “ free” switch games … but for someone who doest have much time tinkering with such thing, I’ll go with original ….
I play my odin 2 for other device like GC , Wii or ps2 which I never touch before…
As a RUclipsr there's just a lot of interest in Switch for the Odin 2. I find it interesting myself and get a kick out of the power this device has so I enjoy the testing but I do sometimes say don't buy an Odin 2 for Switch, I'm all about supporting the devs and games you believe in and enjoy.
@@-roetaka someone like you must be appreciated more than… I believe so much out there people who don’t act knowledge to support game dev by buying their respective games …
And also, I believe that yuzu dev know what they doing, and if they want they can make optimize emulator for switch , maybe they just holding back? To supporting game dev maybe 😄😄😄
Trust me when I say to get the max version. Android is horrible with ram utilization and chews through all available ram 😂. Sometimes I won’t have anything open and it tells me 8gb available out of 16 😳
I've been pretty suprised by the base model and haven't found any true reason to recommend a Pro of Max model yet.
