- Carlo Ancelotti has the Goodison Park faithful in dreamland as Everton are enjoying their best start to a season in over 100 years. With some fantastic new signings such as Allan and James Rodriguez, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison in fine form, Toffees fans are starting to believe anything is possible! With a good young team and a bright future, today we set a #FIFA21 challenge; Can Everton win the Champions League in five years? Let's find out! 👍🏻

Hope you guys enjoyed this one. As I alluded to in my 'upcoming plans for FIFA 21' video I will not be doing any more WTSF episodes, however I still would like to expand on the idea, and I think this could be a nice replacement series. The main criticisms I had in those episodes were that one season was too short and there was no real 'objective', so i've decided to set a goal with each team we use within a time limit to add a challenge, hopefully this makes them a bit more exciting! I've got plenty more ideas including 'Can x-league two team reach the Premier League in six years?' and 'Can x-fallen giant win x-major European league in five years?' but if you've got any more for me, do let me know in the comments! i think a big issue you had was not retraining your wingers to be actual wingers. when you sim it doesnt use the team you set up it auto picks so i imagine it was playing richarlison upfront instead of dcl and gordon was playing left wing the entire time
Noticed the exact same thing. Gordon had 40 apps first season, DCL had 18 😂😂 needed to retrain Richarlison to LW
Docks, I love you and will support you as I have been since discovering your legendary Fifa 13 CM. Your new format will probably be better for ‘bigger’ clubs, but if you do end up taking smaller clubs when the PS5 comes out, I hope you can somewhat go back to your usual format. It’s what made your CM’s feel so special.
Appreciate that very much mate, but yes this is why i'm going far quicker with the bigger teams as there's less progression required! RTG's will have a slower tempo, perhaps with a bit more pace than my traditional CM's, but nowhere near as quick as this! 👍🏻

Very nice docks. One thing I would recommend is season to season transition pages just to make it easy and a bit more dramatic for the season changes.
Good shout, I did the side by side right at the end but yeah seeing a comparison with each season could be a good improvement. Appreciate it! 👍🏻

But next experiments you should make sure that you changed the players’ positions to get better performance and be sure that your starting XI playing while sim. DCL most probably was benched for Richaldison because the Brazilian was listed as ST with higher rate. If you have changed him to LW, James to RW, and Mount, Rice and Foden to CM they would have played even better.

If you check back @34:37 Gordon almost played all the season as starter instead of Richaldison on the left side, so Haaland was benched too, in the first 3 seasons that also happened with DCL.

very cool. would like to see that more often. way more fun over a few season than just one. in the future please train the players on the positions you want to play them. like richarlison to a LF.
Williams is actually a natural RB. He Plays there with the U23's but have not played there in the first team.
If the dynamic potential was working properly in FIFA20, Toney would've been a 95 rated striker, like Richarlison here.
This is basically a who to sign for with more seasons which is a lot better!!

When it says "sign 3 players from Europe" I think I've read somewhere that it means "crucial" players so with that objective bernado silva is a crucial player lunin and tomori are not. Please correct me if I'm wrong

As a follow up to my WTSF series that I ran since FIFA 16, i'm looking for a different way to transform teams and make a series out of it. I think these time based challenges could be a really fun way of evolving that concept! Had a lot of fun transforming this Everton team, hope you enjoyed watching! Let me know if you have any suggestions for other teams and objectives to go with in the future. Cheers all! 👍🏻
Similar to how Stoke were known for having very tall players, why not run a career mode where players are limited by their height. E.g. a team consisting of players 170 cm or shorter (signing a keeper could be tricky), or another team with players who are all 190 cm giants or taller (you could try to return Stoke to their former glory under Pulis). You could also do it by age, not allowed to play anyone who is over/under 30.
