Maybe try making a Periscope with two pieces of mirror, so you can see the display of the pump from above it!

I've been enjoying your vids! Love the relaxing style and can-do approach.
I'm planning on a van resto project and keen to hear how you rate the HWS / pump / shower setup and in you are planning a walk-around review of your van after using it for a few trips.

Curious to know your thoughts on doing something similar on a semi truck. I wont have said truck until September, but running hot water would be amazing

Nicely done. Interested in how you finish the hole in the bench around the sink - rounded edges with a router? Also are you taking any special precautions to stop water wicking into the timber bench top?

Thanks! I just sanded a little round on the edges and we used a clear benchtop seal to seal the bench.

This is the system I'd want but my only issue with it is 10L hot water.. You can't get hot water through flowing.. Like say you want to get water through a tap hook up or in a river using 12v to get unlimited hot water..you can't you only get 10L and thats it...I;m thinking the best way to get hot water is to use a joolca or smart tek or whatever other unit like that then set them on low gas usage or better yet the smart tek has 2 sets of flames one for summer and one for winter.. summer uses less gas but say you put on winter and drop the burners down to min.. then make a re-circalation setup you would use very little gas and get the water to get hot within 4 min without losing water then get as much hot water as you want.. If this unit did same it would be great but it doesnt.. I mean you could re-circulate it to get unlimited hot but you still would be limited to 10L

We find it has enough hot water, we have it set to 65° which is hot enough to add more cold water which stretches out the ten litres. There’s enough hot water to have a decent hot shower but we really only shower long enough to get clean. Thanks for watching

That’s awesome! Thanks for watching and supporting us. The troopy is without a doubt the best for singles or couples but as a family we’re liking the 4x4 and caravan

Your tanks are the same as mine. I not sure I’m comfortable with no straps required. I’ve used the bolts and text screwed in between.

I used the 4 bolts supplied then added another 4 bolts so 8 bolts per tank and the tanks haven’t moved at all in the last 3000km which includes some dirt/corrugated roads
