I strongly believe that if you are doing a woodworking project with live edge wood, stick to the style and avoid straight lines unless it's absolutely necessary.
So glad that I know someone famous :):):) Today, RUclips recommended that I look at this video. So much fun :)

Другая возможность заключается в том, что обучение на самом деле является очень важным занятием, и хорошо, что оно все еще продолжается. Я за последний вариант.

Yes, the transparent roof gives good light for making videos. Unfortunately, in winter, it snows full and does not let the light through anymore..

I just watch a bunch of your videos and nice work, you have so many tools dedicated for each purpose, your chairs are very nice. Your work is amazing and your craftsmanship will definitely stand up to time. I have an outdoor workshop with primitive hand powered tools and build basic tables, log benches and stools, mostly for family, friends and neighbors but I think if I were to put a price on them that even they wouldn't buy it. I also spend much of my time carving now that I'm retired, that to me is a hobby I will take to the end of time. Your right though, there's no money in complicated pieces, people will buy stools/plant stands and bird houses, maybe the odd carving but you will not become rich by any means, most of the time it's a negotiation it seems, everyone wants a cheaper price and in the end not buying it anyways.....lol. Hi Doug. Yes, it is not possible to make handicrafts at the price of mass production. Handiwork is more expensive, and in order to buy it, people must have free money to afford a handmade item. About ten years ago, this sale was still quite possible. As the year goes by, it becomes more and more impossible. SO, this work has also become more of a hobby for me.

the kid reminds me when i was a child, i always hovering around our carpenters to ask many questions and playing with wood saw & their tools, the best part is wood shaving since they only use hand tools the wood shaving is beautifully curled & i use it to groom my sister hair. until my mom come and whoop my ass out 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, I also remember those wood shavings from my childhood. They smelled so good.

Thanks Tom. When oiling, I use "Teak Oil" for impregnation and oil wax or "Danish Oil" for coating. In this video I used oil wax. And I know there are better oils, but the method I use has a very good price-quality ratio, which is quite important when making a living from woodworking.

Я не пользуюсь лаком. То, что я наношу в ванну из шланга, это масло для пропитки «Teak Oil». Салфеткой наношу масло для покрытия «Датское масло».
Лаки могут начать шелушиться в уличных условиях, масло не шелушится.

Один вопрос, где я живу здесь мало растёт ольха, но много сосны, клёна, ветла(ива),берёза, какое из этих деревьев можно использовать,чтобы попробывать зделать стул, скамейку или столик? С Уважением. Из описанных вами пород деревьев клен, пожалуй, наиболее подходит. Сосна имеет очень интересную форму и относительно мягкую древесину, из нее также можно делать мебель с интересной природной формой. Береза слишком твердая и хрупкая для таких конструкций, как моя. Насчет ивы точно не знаю, это должна быть достаточно эластичная древесина, но поверхность под корой имеет занозы. Да, вы можете сделать его из любой породы дерева, каждая древесина имеет свои особенности. Но для того, чтобы клиновидные соединения древесины лучше стыковались друг с другом, лучше иметь более мягкую породу дерева.

Я из Воронежа, после развала Советского Союза, сейчас в России очень много заброшенных ,и разрушенных фермы, села, деревни, не говоря уже о заводах, фабрик, и земли.
