Hi Adriel, Marina Rinaldi is an Italian brand. It’s high fashion for plus sizes in Italy and I personally know one of the owners of the brand, who is a plus size lady. Sorry, just giving back some credit to my own country ahah😂
I’m PUERTO Rican and I’m not starving myself nope don’t want to be a carpenters dream ( flat as a board) haha ❤ great places you showed for full size woman.
On a recent trip, I made a trip to Le Bon Marche looking to try on a few items at Sezane. I'm a US 10, so probably a french 42. The store had nothing in my size. I can order on-line but I was so annoyed by the experience that I decided to pass.
Marina RInaldi is an Italian brand not French, it's part of the Max Mara group as it is a luxury brand. They are very expensive with a focus on cashmere, wool and silks. The other stores in Paris that cater for plus size include Jean Marc Philippe in Rue Saint-Lazare, Jorgie Paris in Rue St Denis. There is also LauraParis, Ulla Popken, Verseau Paris and Ronde et Couleurs. Always check if the shops says it has 'grand tailles'.
@@adrielfeliseit’s really worth checking your facts and doing your homework, especially as Marina Rinaldi is hugely well known internationally, you lessen your credibility.
7:06 This! This is what I lived too in some stores and this is why I made my video about the real secret behind french diet. “ça taille petit ici, hein!” Like…we don’t dress for you, you porker… 😅 I’m 1.72 cm and a size 40 with an hourglass shape. Like, if you can’t tell by my face I’m not French, they can tell by my body ahahha
@@adrielfelise it is! And I noticed that when I was a 38, they never did that. I mean, I’m well integrated and I know how to reply back like a French person, but it still hurts deeply. It gets internalized.
Thanks for this-unfortunately I am plus-size by Parisian standards, so I usually avoid shopping for clothes there. I would love to know where you like to look for interesting accessories-specifically, hats and scarves.
Why are there plus size stores? Plus size must be on the rise I remember when the US had very limited stores for plus size. I appreciate the information.
So in France (especially Paris) most brands do not make clothes for any woman over a size 8 or 10 so here it's necessary to have plus size stores. There are videos of women who are size 8 and 10s trying on Sezane clothing and it's obvious that they didn't make any effort to fit the clothes to a size 8 or 10 (neither of which are sizes I would even consider as being plus size).
Last time I was in Paris I walked into a shop and the saleswoman immediately approached me and rudely said “ we don’t have anything to fit you here”! I was so shocked! I may have been looking for a gift right? She lost my business!
@@adrielfeliseI know very rude. Honestly at my age 60s I could care less what people in any country including Paris think of my weight. Who cares what size they bring you to try on? You try on something you love, if it fits voila. Women of all sizes are beautiful🌸
Good for you now would went back day And bought them from another sales person and looked him in the eye and said that we can get no I’m not gonna miss out on a pair jeans that I lied just because the put the sales price is ignorant you gotta work around that girlfriend because everybody is racist they did that’s open reverie about a person that she asked about and that was open for free so no need for you and your attitude I’m a get what I said that I like and you’re not gonna stop because I’m gonna make my looks
Wow. 🫶🙌👏 this is one of the first times I've seen a straight sized beauty look out for a plus size sweetie and speak to culture and give a heads up about mindset and their experience. I'm in awe. Thank you!
OMG I will not give my business to rude salespeople. It’s 2024 and we can get stylish clothes elsewhere in the world. Good for you for walking away from the cute jeans on principle!

Yes, I know its Italian. I just misspoke in the video.
Great tips, good options. I hope it gets better for plus-size people. We can't have a "one size fits all" mentality.
France is not a place that likes change; if we start to see progress, it will be in probably 100 years...sigh.
“Voriagh” is an incredibly shop in Paris with an online store. I’ve shopped there for years happily!
Merci!

I’m not starving myself either. I can’t do it. These hips aren’t going anywhere.

Yeah it’s incredible how culturally no one has any shame about just not accommodating for any size but ridiculously small. It’s sad.

There’s also Almé Paris that’s pretty inclusive ❤
Thank you.

Ugh, so sorry. The shade they throw is cruel.

I like scarves from Inouï and I prefer Maison Michel hats and also galeries Lafayette for berets. ☺️
Thank you ❤

I'm so sorry you experienced that. I've heard that story time and time again; it's such a horrible way of speaking to people.

Aww, I love the way you said that. And please let me know if you have any queries on Parisian fashion etc that I can help with.
