That is the problem, no one knows! The original remains were so few and discovered so long ago in the early stages of paleontology, that no one can say where it fits in the family tree. This depiction makes it look like a relative of Giganotosaurus, but we only have vertebrae.

When I saw this title I went “Oh yea, hes definitely explaining the Altispinax/Becklspinax situation.”
I did it to the best of my abilities, given current data. But quite frankly, no one is studying the remains.
