I love it, that and Vernors are easy to locate in the Detroit area, the area where I tried both drinks. Vernors is historically correct original ginger ale, of which it has no comparison anywhere. No ginger Ale even approaches the fruity bouquet that slaps your tongue every sip with a Vernors. Y I ull literally hate regular Ginger Ale after you try it, there is a feeling of being robbed your entire life when you finally find and sample it, especially in mixed drinks, there is no comparison.
I've only tried Irn Bru once, but it was a pretty good soda. It kind of reminds me of a soda called "Inca Kola", which itself was created by a British person in Peru, so I'm guessing they were possibly trying to recreate a similar taste with it.

I love it, that and Vernors are easy to locate in the Detroit area, the area where I tried both drinks. Vernors is historically correct original ginger ale, of which it has no comparison anywhere. No ginger Ale even approaches the fruity bouquet that slaps your tongue every sip with a Vernors. Y I ull literally hate regular Ginger Ale after you try it, there is a feeling of being robbed your entire life when you finally find and sample it, especially in mixed drinks, there is no comparison.
If you plan to have a hangover, a glass of this with ice will sort that thirst out. I have moved on to the 'sugar free' stuff and it's still amazing.
I've only tried Irn Bru once, but it was a pretty good soda. It kind of reminds me of a soda called "Inca Kola", which itself was created by a British person in Peru, so I'm guessing they were possibly trying to recreate a similar taste with it.
As a kid in the 70s I remember the "Irn Bru....made with girders" ads. To a wee Scottish guy...."a can of juice can make me big and strong? Really? Do they do it introvenously".😂

Here’s something I pair it with , get an Iron Bru XL can , have it nice and ice cold inside the fridge , make either a streak or spaghetti bolognaise for dinner, serve up , can open , and tell me I’m right ;)
