Maybe you got lucky but the ANC on mine are the worst I have come across. You can literally hear crickets with the ANC maxed out on the app.

AAAhhhh I think the Bowie MA10 earbuds you got are messed up because the ones I purchased on amazon for $30 sound amazing and have Big time Bass a ton of deep Bass I also bought a pair for my Daughter and hers sound the same as mine amazing. These sound almost as good as my samsung galaxy pro 2 earbuds but the Bowies have more Bass that I like !!!!!!!!!!!
