What happened to put you through there so late in the day? We were on 322x. My lead off rider tangled a barbwire fence at mile 37 ish and we wasted a lot of time taping, wiring and ziptying our bike back together. Judging by the light i was catching cocos by about the time you got on the bike. Nice ride!
We had a fuel injector go bad around race mile 320. We changed out fuel pump, ECU, stator, and some other things before we finally realized it was the injector. Was your rider the one that got tangled with the 500X team?
HEllo Dan, what gears are you running on this bike? I’m bought a the new new 450fx and I’m turning into baja race bike the stock is 13/50 but I think is not good for baja
14/47 or 48 depending on your size and skill. Heard the new hondas kinda flatten on top too. Check out a less restrictive pipe and maybe a cam if you wanna push tripple digits. I was running a ktm 500 with 14/48.
I’m an old geezer “racing” in class 60 on a Husaberg 650. There’s no such thing as a larger tank so I gear it to the moon to keep the RPM’s down. 16-45 with a 6 speed trans. The beast will pull it no problem. I’m not sure what kind of top speed it will do, but my Trailtech gps has indicated 118 with quite a bit of throttle left! She’s a great big pig with some really long legs. lol
