It’s finally here! Something all Profoto A1 users have been waiting for… the OCF Adapter for the Profoto A1 series of flashes. Now you can use all your Profoto OCF Adapters with the Profoto A1 series line of lighting. In my opinion, this is long overdue. Better late than never.
Why is this so important? Now you can control light with all your modifiers vs. using different sets of modifiers for different lights, truly making the Profoto B10 Series and A1 Series-along with their other similar heads-a true lighting system.
I’m excited to finally get to use this in the field and have the ability to shape light, no matter the light source.

I am a HUGE Profoto fan boy and have so many of their products but I don’t care what ‘anyone’ says, you CAN NOT justify the price of this bracket. It’s DISGUSTING in every way possible. A third of the price of the flash gun for a bracket. I don’t care HOW well built it is, it’s not justified at all. You can sit there all day long and say “if you don’t want it don’t buy it” and I agree but don’t try to justify the price as you can’t
jason deep breath big guy... :) yes - the answer is if you dont want it dont buy it... and like everything else in life... i dont have to justify anything... there are people willing to pay $5 for a cup of coffee when you can get it at mc d for $1... 5x the price... how do they justify it? how do people justify buying a mercedes when a kia is a fraction of the price or a louis vuitton bag when i can buy one for less than $10 at wal mart. so... see my man... everyone has money for the things they see value in... and for me personally - since thats all i can speak to - the ability to use all my lighting modifiers that i invested thousands in with the A1... is... well worth it. vs having to buy new ones for the A1 and ones for the b10. so... yeah... im sitting here all day long... :)
I guess it needs to cost that much bcus of all the R & D that went in to it 🤷🏾♂️

Photographers are funny, spend 1K on a flash and 50.00 for a bracket that is crap. I got a godox bracket and it sucked so badly that I gave it away.
The build quality is amazing.
I have broken 6 Flashes over the past years from using cheap brackets and I am happy this was created.
Don't like it there is good news you don't have to buy it. I will be getting another when more are available in my area.
Well I think it takes the P, that cheap bracket is fine if used properly. The laster Goddox brackets are sooo much improved and universal, £300 for a bracket that cost pittance from China ( No words ) LOL
For all we care you can go buy 1000 of those brackets and sleep with them, NO ONE GIVES A F%&K 😂🤣🤣
That Beauty dish looks like its about the collapse ( 5:41) I have one just the same, junk comes to mind.
Does OCF adapter accepts the grid, etc., from the OCF II Grid Kit? Thinking of getting one for our B10.
In 2020, Profoto is knocking off Godox. Go figure!!
thank you for this video. i didn't believe if power on 1 Speedlight for this time of outdoor shooting would be sufficient! or needs more power like B10?

@@BibaMedia yes. but keep in mind, others support this feature too. its not unique to profoto.
1600 ISO? WHY?
Modern camera's can handle even more ISO. Also new tools for denoise. And main is it's easier to deal with noise than with photo which is not sharp dew to slow shutter speed.
