"keeps my amp modeler AND my pastor happy ..." 😆oddly enough ... desktop hardware jammers like myself tend to prefer top mounted jacks ... but I might be the ONLY hardware jammer on RUclips that owns a Protein (a hot pink V2 and let's face it ... Stevie would prefer hot pink for its rich buttery glassy boost with natural organic compression)

All I know is, the left side of the V2 Protein makes my 335 sound magical. I do not care where jacks are mounted or how soft my switches are!
