  • Let me share my experience of 1 year and going of living in Egypt, as a student who lived away from their home country their whole life.
    If you are considering going to Egypt and continuing your education here. Here is a video to give you some insights and points to consider before making such a decision.
    I hope this video can help you, as I wish I had a video like this for myself to see before deciding to come to Egypt (not regretting it at ALL..)
    Besides Egypt is full of unique experiences that give you a nuanced perspective of life.
    Here is the IG calculator score (it includes minimum scores for different faculties and universities) theigclub.com/...

    I am likely joining a private uni called Merit university if you want to know a bit more of the specifics about it, but it is not very highly ranked globablly ive realized, will this have a big difference from lets say a more recognized university like Ain shams? Or would this Uni be fine aswell?

      Look unis differ in system and quality of education, your MD degree won’t matter where u get it first, it matters where you specialize later on, don’t worry about where you’ll for your bachelors but I’d choose a reliable uni, good facility, easy access to patients for clinical rounds and a good administration. O October 6 uni is poor in administration and facility, but has lots of patients for clinical experience and the education is not bad, but the system is very unorganized. Expensive private unis in egypt seem to have things well put like New Giza University.

    Is it true that because IG students have a different tabsik that they join universities later than thanawiyah students, missing orientation week and some lectures?

    • @karimscontent
      @karimscontent  8 месяцев назад +1

      No everyone joins at the same time, because tansik finishes much earlier than when university starts. Always start your process early especially because in Egypt everyhting is so slow, so always be on the safe side. Goodluck!!

    Countries like America don't ask you for an Internship
    They just want to see your degree , Would I be able to receive the degree in 5 yrs ( as an international student ) as I don't want Egypt's license

    • @karimscontent
      @karimscontent  4 месяца назад

      Yess but you have to do 2 clinical years to be a GP, you can’t work unless ur done with your clinical years. Very similar to MBBS in Europe.

      @karimscontent  9 месяцев назад +1

      If you want to get into the best public Unis in Egypt, you’ll of course need Bio,Chem, Maths IGCSE/O levels, and in total 8 O levels, and if you get all A* you have a very high chance of getting in, in egypt you only need to do AS as they require u to have 12 years of education, please check out IGclub.com, google “IG club” they’ll guide you to applying to Egypt with Igcse

    • @karimscontent
      @karimscontent  4 месяца назад

      You won’t receive your MD you have to do the 2 year internship, also if you study 5 years of you go anywhere else they’ll just drop you a year or a year and half back , so basically a setback

    • @karimscontent

      Not a lot when you’re a junior doctor, you only earn well when you specialize after you do your masters

    Salaam bro banger video. I'm from UK finished GCSE and A-Level, not sure how I'd go about applying. Any advice? Also my score on the calculator is 96.25% and it says most of the med unis require around 100%, have I got no chance with the top unis?

    • @karimscontent
      @karimscontent  9 месяцев назад

      Yhhh unfortunately that is very true 100% would be required because you’re competing for like ~10% of the seats with everyone who’s applying with SATs, IGCSEs, Australian curriculum, any foreign curriculum other than the Egyptian curriculum.

      If you’re non-Egyptian then you definitely has a chance as they require 75% for non-Egyptians

      I’m not sure to be honest also you need to double check because if you’re American they also require EST from what I remember( Egyptian version of SATs) I’m not very knowledgeable for SATs so plz double check
