I don’t know if I’d call it hate, but there is a strong dislike among some regarding the Buffs and Coach Prime. I don’t know why anyone would think they know more about what Coach Prime is going to do in the future than he does. And they say it with such bravado as though they’ve been let in on an exclusive by Coach Prime. If you are truly a BUFFS fan you’d listen to him and the podcasts when he says he’s not leaving Colorado. He doesn’t follow his kids, he;s about to get comfortable in Colorado and he doesn’t want nor have a desire to coach in the NFL. He’s playing chess 10 moves ahead and you’re playing checkers. Alabama wasn’t always Alabama. They started out rough at first, but Satan had already won a Natty with LSU and the Bama faithful knew what he could do. He started winning and the rest they say is history. It’s a very great situation to be in when you can choose the players you want and not have to recruit them. The winning tradition and school did the recruiting, the football team allowed him to choose who he wanted. So many kids wanted to play for him, they didn’t have a problem sitting on the bench for 1-3 years until their Junior season to play. Just the mere fact you played FB for Alabama, everyone knew you were one of the best and your draft stock was 2 to 3 times higher than most schools. Winning covers a multitude of ills. Had Satan had to deal with Transfer Portal, NIL, Collectives, Alabama wouldn’t be the school it is now. I believe that because as soon as it was not against the rules, he retired because he didn’t want to be a part of it. Also, the transfer portal contributes to parity in the sport. When you’re have to re-recruit your current players each year, it’s tough. I’m glad we have the NIL, collectives and transfer portal, because I got tired of seeing kids get stuck at a school when they would be better off somewhere else. Everyone is entitled to their opinion because we all have one. Coach Prime is not leaving to go to another school or the NFL. Period no comma.😊
