Look forward to seeing how the stand works in the fall. Great job highlighting the steps taken putting in the pond and clearing the path back through the woods. That is awesome that you son was right there by your side !
Lee, after you pinch them with the pond, try laying a few large logs/brush piles at edge of pond perpendicular and funnel them to where you want them so they have to walk around logs. Buddy of mine does this and it works like a charm, he has multiple set ups where the logs guide the deer walking paths, best wishes.
Well down here in central MS I can’t say the same it hasn’t stopped raining. hopefully it will come up yalls way soon so you can get your crops growing. Thanks for another awesome video lee I’ve learned a lot watching you set up the farms to do on my own place so thanks again.
Great idea I did the same thing in my 2 1/2 acre plot in Ohio and it has worked great .another thing we are going to do in our bigger plot in Illinois is put a 8 ft fence across to pinch the deer into 35 40 yards ..
Great job as always. Quick question, I watch your live feeder cam. Why do your deer have several ticks behind their ears? Some of the deer are covered behind the ears.
Honestly it wasn’t for us either but here we r, u have to make your dreams come to fruition, we certainly did not come from money and neither of our parents owned any land, we made it happen through blood, sweat and tears…..
There was a lot of talk about the rubbing post in the food plot. I have tried and been unsuccessful with a couple rubbing post here in western Ky. You care to show/explain how you will set the rubbing post up?
Hi Lee. Have you ever considered using Dr. Grant Wood’s (Growing Deer RUclips Channel) planting techniques to help with erosion and low moisture conditions? I would love to see you guys get together and create a video of best practices.
Come to Pennsylvania to my property and explain to the guys that hunt my camp that this stuff actually works! And it's not just "stuff on TV or RUclips"
Your buddy did you a solid by giving you a hand with his dozer and operator. Renting a d6 is way more than 100 bucks a day. You can't even get delivery for that😂
Just found the channel. When building ponds....what is needed to add to the soil to prevent the water from absorbing down into the soil and loosing the pond?
Mr Lee I live in Oklahoma can you tell me where I can rent a D6 bulldozer for a $100 a day?Any where between the Gulf of Mexico to the Canadian border I would be happy to rent for a $100 a Dayi haven’t watched any thing you put out for a couple years and this is why
T post and cattle panels make a fence that angles toward the blind . You could put it in a few hours
Enjoy watching his strategy unfold
I watch these episodes with a notepad. Lee is So smart about the way he approaches hunting.
We’ve been married 20 years and I learn from watching these!!!
Things are coming along for you all. Thanks for sharing it with us Lee.
You bet, thanks for watching!
This continues to be great. As Lee talks I think about my own situation. He’s explaining his setup but also teaching
Love seeing the kids out there. Cameron is like a little sponge soaking it all up!
Awesome video! Both great strategy and family involvement!!
Wish I had 5 acres butting up to all your hard work!
😂
Awesome Lee. Love Cameron and his involvement very cool
Have to say yous have earned to have such beautiful farms and land. Able to make what you want and how you want it. Only dreams for myself!🦌
Good luck guys

Awesome show guys.. thanks for sharing! Just watched the new CRUSH show!!!
Love seeing those kids getting involved! Looks like a killer setup also!
Awesome family time! My oldest is 10 and he probably did 50% of the footwork this year while seeding and prepping plots. Yes we all hope for rain!
I love that!

Another great video...will you try to fill the pond with water tank or just wait for rain
Cleaning up the brush still from mine
Man that pretty awesome only dreams for me not even a vision really

How come you didn’t leave the wheat or oats standing till fall planting?
What percent of the bucks that come by use the rubbing post?
There was a lot of talk about the rubbing post in the food plot. I have tried and been unsuccessful with a couple rubbing post here in western Ky. You care to show/explain how you will set the rubbing post up?
We will have Lee talk about his thoughts on where and how!!

What wood do you recommend for your rubbing post?

Years ago we used to do seminars all of the time out there, amazing how many would come up and show picts of small changes that yielded great results!
Are you concerned that putting in more ponds will increase the chances for EHD?
That’s a good question, I need to have him answer that one!
@@tiffanylakosky7122 living the how's and why's behind the set ups and farms. Look forward to every video!

His buddy probably knows it’s good for his business to be on such a fantastic hunting show.
I was thinking, Lee, I think your a tad low n rental costs! 😂😂 He doesn’t write the checks out for that, I do!!! Lol
