      Yes caddie should be helping him since on tour every player has one...anyways would be nice to see 2 rounds and if he makes cut another 2..Tour players are few levels above YT but I am sure from time to time youtuber would make a cut

    • @DavidDouglasJr
      @DavidDouglasJr 7 месяцев назад +1

      YES! He’s not getting the reads on these putts right and in the PGA tournament these players have the worlds best caddies. Lack of a caddy is a HUGE, MASSIVE handicap for Grant

    • @gasperstarina9837
      @gasperstarina9837 7 месяцев назад

      @@DavidDouglasJr yes thats true but course for 4 days is made harder.yes elite caddies but in 80% then are just trying to keep player mentally okay, commiting to swing, double approval..but biggest HCP is he makes YT and cannot grind every day from norning to evening and also still huge differnce between tour pro an scratch golfer (his video with best 15yo lid totally proved that-boys at 15 are superior to 25-35yo scratch golfers and they have full 10 years ahead to improve...we always say we know the difference is huge but it still surprises how huge of a difference there is especially if pro is in tour mode not in sunday funday mode, Bryson at LIV&Majors is totally different beast than on youtube channel

    This content is great, my only suggestion to give yourself the best chance of accomplishing your goal; is to have a caddy to help you determine the best shots to play and reading greens. The pros have that advantage as well as playing the course at least 2 days before the tournament. I think with a caddy that knows your game you will do fantastic. Maybe use your dad. He is great for youtube as well, love that guy. GHG LETS GO BABY!!!!!! Glad your feeling better as well.

    Here’s what I’d like to see. You start and play the course that tour plays. And play 2 rounds to really measure if you can make the cut. Round 1 Thursday ( whatever day) you post then round 2 Friday you see what the scores were round 1 and put up yours then in your round 2 you play knowing what the cut is and truly see if you can make the cut. I’d watch every min of that

    The tour players are not playing that course that calm and relaxed. They are walking, not riding, their paycheck is on the line, they are worried about making the cut to advance, TV cameras, and a live audience surrounded by fans and spectators. Their stress level and nerves are much higher. So whatever you shoot, add some strokes. With that said, I love the channel and this new content. You made the right decision leaving G.G.

    Nice video Grant. This video really shows the difference between a really good amateur and touring pros. Your lack of length compared to them makes courses like this so much more difficult. It especially is evident on the par 5 scoring holes. They pretty much reach them all in two where they were all 3 shot holes for you. You basically are giving up 3-4 shots to the field just on the par 5’s!

    You should try and bring Wesley out with you for one of these to show his mindset and how he’d play if he were in this position. Love the idea for the series though! 🤙🏻

    For a short stretch I thought you were going to remake the Bishops Final Round scene from CaddyShack !! Great round .. not your best but even when you're not at your best it's still fun to watch you grind out a great score.

    I am hoping you get to Bethpage, my old home course, just to see what you would shot from the tips! Keep the videos coming. You have a beautiful swing that I only wish I could emulate.

    Grant, you’ve come a long way since you were too embarrassed to even do a good good into. Sky’s the limit brother!

    Great idea for a series. 1 potential improvement is to add another player, matchplay or stroke play, just to add some competition outside of you Vs the course

    Had the opportunity to play Innisbrook in my teens, toughest course I've played yet. The North and South courses on the resort play very nice as well.
