"Travel Through Time and Space
Your seat in the theater of Ellen's brain becomes a time machine that transports you through primeval forests where dinosaurs dwell.
Learn about energy with Ellen and Bill Nye the Science Guy as you encounter an array of prehistoric creatures and discover how fossil fuels were formed. Smell prehistoric swamps, narrowly escape streams of molten lava from an erupting volcano, and see if you can spot an embattled Ellen amidst the primordial pandemonium!
Through the magic of surround cinema, you'll also witness the cataclysmic event believed to have shaped the universe as we know it: the Big Bang. Then float far above Earth with satellites and atoms and explore a future powered by fusion.

When the charmingly candid comedienne falls asleep while watching Jeopardy!, she dreams she's a contestant on the show. Unfortunately, the category is energy, a topic she knows nothing about!
Thankfully, her friend and neighbor Bill Nye is on hand to tutor her, and you're along for the ride as they embark on a time-traveling quest for energy knowledge.
Then witness the Final Jeopardy! showdown as Ellen is pitted against her college rival, a brainiac doctor she sardonically refers to as "Stupid Judy," and see how much you've learned about energy."

I loved this ride as a kid. Something about the big screens and...well huge feeling you got when sweeping over oil fields and the like, and of course the dinosaurs were cool too, but this and the Great Movie Ride were pretty awesome in my book.
Went on this ride about 2 wks after it 1st opened in 10/82. When we sat down in the 2nd room we noticed that there were small signs in front of you that said "Please keep your hands & feet inside the vehicle at all times". Movie ran, then the curtain went up & the cars started moving into the tunnel. My mouth dropped open & didn't close until we walked out of the place. And it all wasn't nearly as fancy as the Ellen vers in this vid.

Best Ride EVER at Disney.... long, entertaining, mobility accessible and all AVIA platforms (including smell) were experienced.... shameful it was phased out...still EXTREMELY relevant and humorous ...So glad I got a chance to experience it live and Please, please keep this video hung.

Funny thing is I was at Disney when he died, and I went to Epcot later that day. I went up to where the ride used to be and paid my respects on my way out.

To be honest, that is what made EPCOT so charming - it's the future, but it's the future imagined in the 1980s.
This ride is so fun but it would be so nice if Ellen and bill nye update this ride cause everyone loves Ellen. The new ride should take place in her talk show!

I loved this ride, it was a great "break" ride after a lot of walking, plus it was funny and you learned things.
This was always one of my favorite attractions...this and the great movie ride which I will sorely miss. Also it was a nice break to just sit down for a bit out of the sun.
I can still remember the distinct smell of the ride when you first enter the dinosaur world...it's actually what prompted me to visit from Texas several times...weird, huh?
The dinosaurs on this ride are so nostalgic. Classic, off-model dinosaurs are one of my favorite things and Disney used to have a lot of them, sadly not so much anymore. I was one of the last people to ride this in 2017 (sadly I wasn’t in the lucky group that got the in-show exit, but I was on it earlier the same day) I’ll always miss this.
This ride was my absolute favorite as a kid. We couldn’t leave the park without going on it. I knew that ride by heart. I wan trynna remember it today and it felt like a huge fever dream, it was driving me crazy that no one else remembered it. Finally got the right mix of words in the search bar and found it. Thank you so much for the nostalgia. I miss the big stegosaurus you go right up next to. That one was my favorite ❤️ I miss that Dino.

This is the main reason I really got to love Ellen when I was a kid. Those were the days. For some reason I thought is was hilarious when she was blow drying her hair in the helicopter.

Is this Disney's longest ride? 32 minutes +? How long is Pirates of the Carribbean? Maybe the monorail trip from the ticket center to Epcot is the longest Disney ride. Or the cruise ship... but that doesn't count. When the theater breaks apart and moves through the dinosaurs it is just amazing!

Just watched the ride from beginning to end. No cut aways or anything. I was just using the time markers on the videos I watched. I havent been to DW since 1998
The Great Movie ride is around 20, so it's up there, but I havent seen one on RUclips that's over 30 minutes besides this one, so I'd say this is the longest ride.

If the rumors are true, by the end of the year or immediately after new years. To be replaced by an unknown, Guardians of the Galaxy themed ride. One rumor I came across, said they intend to completely demolish the building too. :( So I guess we'll be 2 to 3 years away from a new ride, if they do that.

one of the best rides at Epcot , drink a few pints in the English pub first , sit back and enjoy. .. lasts about 30 minutes.
