That direct Injection 💉 looks KooL KooL KooL MaN, would love to find one for my 67 C~20 ,,,I would imagine you guys have came heads and stuff for them as well ?
A lot of people think im a dick when im working on fabrication projects. They just dont seem to understand how much easier a project goes when you arent constantly distracted. Luckily, im at a point to where i can put up a sign that says “not now” and staff knows not to engage me, unless its an emergency. Once i get done what i need to do, then i go back and answer any questions or phone calls. It has made a really big difference in the time and efficiency of being able to complete projects.
Hey guys Big fan, watch you all the time. DO y'all have A/C n heat in that truck. Any help would be Appreciated. I have the same setup in my 1989 c1500 2wd chevy. That is that only thing I need to do.
Really enjoying this build series, it’s pretty cool to ride along and watch the step by step process while y’all also figure new things out, very helpful and informative, also nice to learn a thing or two along the way. Keep up the great work.
Tip for the day: using aluminum foil to cover the hard lines and other little bits makes it easier to remove when done than using painters tape I know to late now, but there may be a next time
irunolds tru but foil is still way easier to wrap up things and remove after.. I’ve tried each way and I’ll never use tape or paper as long as I have foil
How in the world do you guys not have a power washer for the shop! I just bought a refurbished electric ryobi 2000 psi for $120 from Home Depot and it works amazing!
Try using tin foil instead of tape for the wiring... you'll thank me when it comes time to remove it ....keep up the good work... Leroy The Savage is a thru testament
Scotty doesn'tKNOW Next time we will hit up Walgreens beforehand. Actually will use that tip on some of my own builds, never heard or thought about it before though.
@@josephpotak yeah man it's actually about what I'm about to do to my 90 c1500. Just got the old 5.3 pulled and painting the bay for the new and improved 5.3 but I'm doing POR15 not rattle can.

there is no replacement for displacement
Awesome work truck
I like that you guys always play metal in the background.
Man love that color wonder what color code is that?
use a 6.5 diesel surge tank that’ll bolt in the stock location on the firewall
Matt G Thanks for the tip. Haven’t even researched it yet.

Old newspaper works good with tape too

Okie Joe Have a couple nice ones but no wash pit/grease trap, don’t want to deal with washing oil/grease into street/ground etc.
That thing is so nice. Gonna be awesome when you’re finished.
What radiator did you use? I'm in the middle of my swap as well.
Another great video 👍
Cant yall put a converter in it now
One step closer!! The fuel system on the new engine is awesome! Way cooler than the LS engine. Can't wait to see the next one!!!

Foil and plastic bags are the way to go.
Looking good bud cant wait to see the out come
call the project 8 mile. lol
Paint after cleaning it
Are you going to paint the rest of the frame ?
Dan L it has undercoating on exposed areas already. If we have bed off will do spots they missed.
Seth powered Chevy !! Lol good job on the paint bud.
Can't wait to take my truck to Texas speed 😎
8 mile, like the eminem movie 🤣
I would ditch the built in cooler simply to avoid the radiator ever cracking and trashing the trans.
Finally! 👍🏽
Siiiiiily RABBIT!!!!!
Nice work, can't wait to hear the bald eagles screaming
Oof
You guy rock I’m gonna buy a cam for my C5 from y’all soon make some more bald eagles 🦅 scream!!!
Man you are going to regret putting that direct injection engine it that truck ,they have nothing but problems with Carbon Build up on the valves
When they boost it , and put the secondary port injection , it'll be fine .
Wanna wash the valves , Stand in it !!!
Carbon problems? I own one and work on them every day, never once had an issue with carbon on the valves...
Ha, rusty as heck. You ain't seen rusty, son.
You're nuts for using tape for all that. TIN FOIL!!!! Wrap it, paint, and pull it.
