Poro King is actually quite a strong deck, the thing that you didn't see (because you managed to win at only level 3, which is impressive) is that his deck upgrades are REALLY strong. Von Yipp ends up a 2-cost, Poro Stories summons a random poro on cast, Poro Snacks give random rare items.
Also my opinion of the king is a bit skewed because I have the Spirit of the Bhuru epic relic which is INSANELY strong here (since it gives all your 1-costs 3 keywords, making hitting the 4-keyword threshold for buffs super easy).
PK is also pretty good before Spirit of the Bhuru, with Chemtech Duplicator he scales insanely high.
@@MrAdannor Dark Star is also really good on him. It trigger is Power (dead ally) and give some protection and finish power to your key champion. But I can't seem to beat Lissandra yet mostly because of the limit to 3 cards/turn that ruin PK gameplay to swarm the board fast.
The ephemeral copy/capture mechanic isn't actually a bug, it's their best effort at a bug FIX. Before the fix, the original unit would capture an enemy, then the exact ephemeral copy would be created with a copy of that card inside it, and also capture another card. This meant that when the ephemerla copy died, both cards would be released, but then if the original unit also died, a COPY of the captured unit would also be released (so capture + ephemeral copies would literally print enemy units, especially if you had multiple ephemeral copies being created).
The fix is that instead of duplicating captured units, they all get moved to the ephemeral copy instead. Still not a great item combo, but at least we aren't printing enemy units any more.
I wonder if the order does matter like the viewer had mentioned though, since in theory if he had gotten the ephemeral copy first THEN capture, they should have different units captured. Super cool to see someone understands what happened in the interaction though!

I think what actually happens is that the units are captured by both units simultaneously instead. so when the ephemeral copy dies, both get released, and capture icon disappears from the normal card. I assume if the normal card were to die first, both would get released before the ephemeral one died too. rito messed up again
The only workaround that I know is to replace that ephemeral and it'll work like obliterate the captured unit..
That's why I rarely pick that item combo..
I hope riot make available all champions in PoC. I want to play Renekton so much.

They really need to just change nasus to Renekton. The deck makes so much more sense with Renekton. I'd love to see azir with a focus on getting to the emperors deck but giving every item in the emperors a random item, like that legendary power. Would be so fun and provide so much variety
The "When I'm summoned, capture the strongest enemy" + "When I'm summoned, summon an ephemeral copy of me" Is similar to the old Disintegrate (could kill dealing 0 damage): It's working as intended, but the intended is really counterintuitive.

You used to scratch my league competitive urge with PVP games. Nowadays I'm happier when the upload turns out to be PoC.
Don't know if anyone told you Snnuy, but the LoR devs have been active on the PoC and LoR subreddits asking players what champions need deck and power adjustments, so that's what the QoL changes will be.
Hope they tweak Orn. He feel so weak right now.

The capture thing works like that in pvp too (dawn and dusk on a capturing unit). It usually works against your opponent because you would've copied the captured opponent's card otherwise. It just feels bad with shadow totem and iceborn gauntlet cuz the summoned exact copy also captures so 2 units comes out when it dies.
46:56 It's an ephemeral EXACTLY copy, so it copies the captured units too, it's not a bug

@@mazju9420 they changed it so because before you would print enemy cards since both the ephemeral unit and the non ephemeral unit had the first captured enemy. Now only the ephemeral unit has both
but the original poro king no longer has anything captured

PK was the first champ I used to beat Liss. I got biggledust, and fleeting copies of lonely poro (with a few more items) Created cards costed zero, so I filled the board with 6 8/8’s every turn lmao, scaling with snax

If you use the item if you have 6+ mana double spells with poro king. The encounters are a breeze.

So the von yip effect is the same as the power so if you can get cost reduction to make something cost one it will then work on it
And honestly I think that's better than only going off of Base cost
