Saw them for the first time at South Park 25th birthday. Never would've imagined I would like music like this.
Well, I came here to say this too. Only took me 36 years of life, but I finally get Primus. And it’s fucking magical.
I've been into primus for a little over two years now and their the best thing I've ever heard, seeing them play at the 25th anniversary made me go crazy
I can't believe I'm not the only one. Like...and it's Les Claypool. Why did I not listen to this growing up?!
At 34 years old, im exactly the same. Wish I would have gotten into them earlier. But now that I am, they're here to stay in my catalog.
I envy you. Been playing the Red Rocks version on repeat. 😬
It just occurred to me Primus and Matt and Trey probably bonded over their dislike of Streisand.
Primus is the only band from the 90s worthy of being in the original 60s Woodstock
true story
Don’t forget Tool.
There are a few
could have played Greta van fleet too.......😂😂😂😂😂
@@pichaelthompson4022 Yesssss
that isnt a story dipshit
I started listening to Primus in 91 when I was in the military. I'm 53 now and still listening to Primus.
Almost the same for me. I'm 48 and Primus is still my favorite band.
God bless this crowd, there was just something in the air in the mid-90s. I have fond memories of this and the original Lollapalooza fest.
It was drugs
@@malapertfourohfour2112 And sexual assault
@@unicornsteaks6769 wrong Woodstock
They’re LOVING them some Primus. The whole set is this way. Fun to watch.
@@nikopoa6555 Primus sucks, not so much Woodstock 94. Mudpeeps.
Les Claypool is nothing short of a genius.
This song sounds easy to play on bass and sing I tried it and its almost impossible
Play and sing at the same time is a bloody challenge
Agreed 💯
Love how this song is in 5/4, has such a marching feel
This is almost 30 years old?! Ain't no gotdang way.
From Woodstock to South Park, Primus will always remain legendary.
gimme a few more here they comes
Here they come
here they come.
Here they come!
@@ChiyaQT here they come
Here they come
It’s hilarious watching people try to mosh in 5/4 time.
😅😅😅😅truth
Legendary performance, absolutely!
This song provides the best mosh ever!!
Man, I wish I would've gotten into this band like 20 years sooner. I was into all the grunge bands, definitely was familiar with the Primus I heard on the radio, but thought they were kind of a novelty act. Well in like 2015 they came to do their take on Willy Wonka, and me and some buddies thought it would be cool to check it out. Man, we were blown away! Haven't missed a chance to see them or Les since...
Great Band!
This band sucks

Primus sucks!
The way les bounces up and down so robot like with a cheesy grin on his face at the beginning will never not be funny to me
That thing is hysterical. It brought me to my knees holding my stomach.
They sounds amazing,unique...love them
Thank you Mike Ternasky and Plan B for introducing a kid to this song through the Questionable video in 1992.
These guys are SO MUCH BETTER live than you’d think they are judging by their studio albums. Such a headbanging heavy sound.
Every day at work do U know witch Primus song I listen 2? 2 many poppy'z! Dam Awesome 😎
3:26. Guy looks like an actual zombie.... Wtf.
wow thats true
It was the Woodstock of mud
We’re Pimus we suck but we established that. Classic
There is a little bit of Bastard in each and every one of us 😊
Remembering seeing Primus at the Phoenix and the River theatre in high school.
I knew this fucking great banda by Tony hawk pro skater n64
Love how smug les looks
he knows how much he's destroying the bastards
Constantly yet he seems like a humorous/humble guy at the same time.
Happy 30th anniversary
Who’s listening in 2024?
Lollapalooza 93 would have sucked if not for Primus, Rage, Tool, Arrested Development, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., and my abject use of lsd.
Here comes the numbers
1993 Waterloo nj they closed lolapalooza and we’re epic
Les Claypool isn't on LSD, that dude IS lsd.
Primus’s guitarist looks an awful lot like 1994 Dean Ween
PrimUSween
I thought the same mixed with Keller Williams
That is the talented and strange Mr Larry LaLond
That grin is one of the funniest and most absurd things I have ever seen in my life
Dat's my man.
Love it
Ah the beauty of no cell phones in hands....talk about being present. Miss these days!
South Park 25th anniversary brought me here
You see Les shaking when he takes off his hat
He shook his arm on purpose I think.
@@sketchesforyou8020 no I don't think he did, I think he's nervous, as any human would be. These guys aren't mass produced musicians, Les was a carpenter.
@@adriangoodman8901 have you watched a single primus show in your life?! Thats les' signature thing which is to shake his hand vigorously
@@charlesxcalibur true
it's on purpose
Cool
Now. If I was Sting...
Can I get some -"Here they come"
Her they come
Les' comment about them complaining about the price gouging aged well lol
Man, I wish I could read
I wish I could comment on that
I wish I could exist.
The wall Trump Built Hello
Les reminds me a lot of Rick Nelson
Viper higgins on bass 😂
Something about a hammer head shark
This was the Woodstock that was a catastrophe.
EDIT: Guess that was '99 actually.
I thought that was 99
Wasnt this one just a garden variety shitshow
@@TheBanMan You're right. My apologies. I didn't realize there was yet another.
The first Woodstock was a literal ish show after the rains came and the out houses overflowed.
94 was cool, 99 was a disaster

I think he was 29-30 years old when they did this show.
