The only weekly boss fight that i really enjoy. It is challenging, the music is good, and listening to Sawashiro Miyuki's voice constantly taunting us is a bliss.
I remember when the calamity struck, I got 999 ping and my Lumine doing moonwalk before disappearing into ashes without dying voiceline. My baby girl refuse to die on God's hand.
not gonna lie, her voice " WITNESS THE FINAL CALAMITY" I'm shrieked out, having no electro party and the one who died is a healer really killed the moment, I'm blanked since that was the first time my Zhongli's shield is shattered at once, not even the king wolf can make me an insta death, but at the same time, I'm kinda love that moment, like "this is what it feels to fight against a god in this game" best first experience ever XDD
The Final Calamity move actually one shots you no matter what. Even if you were to dedicate and entire team to tanking it, it would still one shot your character.
Ngl, when I fought the boss my mind went “why do I have an electro character it’s not like they can break through the shield” and then the final calamity struck.
@@AB-jt4rs I know now, I'm talking my first experience, she's the first boss that makes me blanked out, the others I can fight calmly, but her moves kinda reminds me of some other rpg games in other console (platform) that can insta kill no matter how you buff your character are, so yeah I was shocked with that move, like I don't think genshin will pull this even her sound is kinda eerie at the beginning XD

Drums and electro guitar here are telling you one thing: "don't mess with Raiden Shogun". But when you hear the flute performing Inazuma melody here, it gives you sad and kinda melancholic vibe. Brilliant and very fitting mix indeed, as it helps you to understand the resolve of the Shogun and feelings of Ei, who had to gave up so much for her dream of eternity.
I actually prefer the music when we fight Ei in first phase, not the shogun Since it has very grim atmosphere, it sound much more like we're fighting a formidable force
Fighting Ei both times during the story was by far the best boss fight in the game. Didn't get quite the same feeling when fighting the puppet. The music was definitely part of it.
I was hoping for some sort of remark of that phase, because it was pretty underrated, but then again, this version essentially represents the final showdown between Ei and the puppet
I spend more time vibing to this music than fighting 😂 This is one of my favorite boss music, second favorite after the Enkanomiya battle theme. It's the same as first time we fought Ei, right? I don't remember because at that time I was too busy surviving, didn't got to listen to the music.
The first phase music is the same as the second time we fight her, the first time with the heartbeat and ominous feel hasn't returned. This is a new remix.
Personally my favorite boss theme is La Signora's second phase. Makes me tear up almost every time, the lyrics, the vocals and the insane beats convey every emotion perfectly. Honestly Ei's was more unfeeling and cold, a perfect fit for the lifeless robot we're foghting, although I feel they should've added special OST for Ei in the story battle

Came back here after battling Scaramouche. Damn he is miles behind Shogun in terms of difficulty. Like even without the Gnosis she can clap you because of her irregular attack patterns.
Imagine the music that'll play when we fight Isatroth or Genshin or the Kiana ripoff. I can't wait for new styles and more ingenious soundtracks by Hoyo Mix and Yu peng Chen

Just a fun fact, it's possible to put up the Electro shield without an Electro. Me and my friend fought her and stupidly forgot to bring an Electro. My Itto and her Hu Tao went to town on that shield trigger and we actually got it up RIGHT as the big CALAMITY arm struck us. So it's possible, just probably not on ur own
i use my trusty hu tao on her (my ayaka could speed run it but the energy cost is too much if it didn't one shot her xD) and she's surprisingly having fun xD

Nah they’re all great in their own ways, it’s just up to one’s preferences and tastes :) my 2 favourite weekly boss themes might be phase 2 of Andrius and phase 1/2 of Childe. Too bad I beat them too quickly.

Raiden and Childe are the best bosses and with a massive difference. All the other bosses are either too simple or have garbage mechanics (looking at you, Azdaha). I'd lean more towards Raiden though since her moveset is quite varied and her 2 phases are integrated perfectly in gameplay, unlike Childe.
@@SirLlyodTera you can focus everything except farming artifacts. Its not worth it since you cant even use 5* artifacts as now. Just upgrade them to decent but you dont need to care much about substats, just its effect and main stats is fine. But remember to enjoy the lore and exploration, because they are the first priority to earn the primos and unlock the map, no need to push yourself into those artifacts much, its just all pain. Wait for the real nightmare when you are 45+ ar, from ar58 player

And it hits like a truck once she transforms
