Good morning lou happy Sunday! I'm glad to hear your test results are ok. And has always thank you for sharing a day in your life. Continue to be well and happy and enjoy the day to day activities of what life brings you
I have had a colonoscopy done. I know it can seem scary, but the hardest part is the prep that you do yourself. The anesthesiologist was very good and making me feel completely relaxed. I just fell asleep and when I woke up the procedure was over. I did have to have someone drive me home but I dud not need anyone to care for me afterwards. Of course, the procedure may be different in Japan.
Herein the US we are not allowed to eat the day before a colonoscopy or endoscopy. This makes sure your stomach or intestines are empty of food so they can see every ulcer and inflammation. So the day before the procedure we take a colon prep that makes you go to the bathroom until everything that comes out is clear. You’re prettty weak when you’re done. Then the next day you go to the procedure. And you are knocked out because any discomfort will make you move and this interferes with the visuals. Every little movement from the patient also moves the scope which is the instrument used to visualized your colon or stomach in case of endoscopy and it makes it easy to miss seeing am ulcer or a polyps that could be malignant.
perhaps it was just sigmoidoscopy? I don't think you have to be Empty for for that one? ...idk now she is drinking the stuff. I had thought of that too when I saw her eating. Watching this vid reminds me I need mine.... the joys of being 50+

Well done for getting through the procedure. I've had it done twice. The preparation is most unpleasant. It's annoying when you can't find the problem. My daughter has bought me a box of your snacks! But she's making me wait until Christmas to open it. I can't wait!
Also part of lowering inflammation is diet. I'm going through the same thing. Cut down carbs and sugar. Also if you can find biotin, I get off Amazon my hair was thinning so bad, I lost half of it. Since using the biotin it is now thick and growing fast!

Hello, and thank you for for a nice video. Hope you find resolution to your health problems soon. Btw, I find that many people find the fact that colorectal and stomach cancers are so prevalent in Japan surprising, as the Japanese diet is overall deemed to be healthy. Studies link the cancers' prevalence mainly to H. pylori infections as well as the excessive amounts of salt in many common foods, not forgetting the many preservatives and additives so common in Japanese snacks and fast foods. Smoking is also a prominent factor.

Hey, I want to be assure you that two years ago I had both an upper endoscopy, and colonoscopy colonoscopy was a lot easier to deal with! Of course, it will differ from person to person, I can only tell you how it was for me, but I hope your experience is also not too bad ❤
Hey Lou, I'm really glad to see your test results are great. I'm also shocked to hear about the gastrointestinal issues in Japan and stomach cancer cases. I'm not a Doctor but since I struggled with gastrointestinal issues for many years, my family had to develop an amazing system that worked wonders for me. I had to quit wheat, sugar, milk and also anything with msg and umami that includes the soy sauces, mirin etc. I've had to retrain my taste buds and eat natural garlic and ginger, carrots, tomatoes mostly. I also stopped adding condiments to my foods. Please consider making these changes. I've tried it with many of my friends who had similar issues and the results are excellent. Its also helped us in weight management. Please not I'm not a doctor but when our guts are sick, they affect other areas.
Thats very sad you had to experience that pain with no sedation. I don't think the Drs in my state in USA would allow it done with no sedation. You are more brave then me. I would have to hold off till my boyfriend could go with me. Or in my case a friend or neighbor. But im so glad you survived. Glad the results were positive. If you have a rheumatologist in Japan, that's who I would go see. They specialize in diseases from inflammation. Beautiful lights!

My sympathy goes with you, I had a colonoscopy but I had sedation which wasn’t so bad. The worst part was the Bowel prep I had to drink- it was absolutely horrible and it made me sick. When do you get your results? I got mine the next day before I wa discharged from hospital.
I just had a colonoscopy last week I was only allowed to have clear liquids and a drink to make sure I was cleared out a day before procedure. All went well
I’ve had a number of colonoscopies and they were all good experiences under anesthesia. I can’t imagine the torture you’ve experienced. I hope you get answers soon, don’t give up ❤
I had an endoscopic and colonoscopy done back in Oct. I had to drink some kind of stuff that came in a gallon size jug. You had to fill it with water and dtink the whole thing. 1 cup every 15mins. I had to finish it by 6am the next morning. They did put me under anesthesia. I was asleep the whole time. The dr. was very pleased with my results. He told me to come back in 10 years! Im sorry you had to go through such a tough ordeal. Please try to find a better dr. In your healthcare network.
Your stomach cancer rate being higher could be related to all the prepackaged food you eat. Chemical additives and preservatives usually included in those. Check out your ingredients
Well done for preparing so thoroughly for the test, and I am sorry that you found it painful. Here in the UK, for certain types of colonoscopy the hospital sends you an enema kit, which is fun ;-) to administer yourself, especially when you live on your own. I was really lucky in that I found my colonoscopy merely uncomfortable, not painful, and any discomfort disappeared really quickly. It was done really gently, and the medical staff were attentive and approachable. Positive mental attitude along with breathing techniques really helped, as well.
Hi. Had the same symptoms as you. I tried intermittent fasting and cutting back on carbs and/or sugars. Worked great for me. Also took some B Complex and Magnesium Glycinate supplements. I'd say try doing the fasting. Not sure if you eat in reality like how it's shown here, if yes, work on your meal timing. Our stomach needs rest. When our gut is not well, it impacts everything in our body.
Before my test I hastiest a liquid diet. No problem but the stuff I had to drink to corn my colon out was the worse. I had to stay close to the bathroom all day and night.
I’m so sorry you have to do the colonoscopy without anesthesia. That is really not something you want to be awake for. But I hope you can determine what is causing the inflammation! Fingers crossed! My brother was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer because he didn’t get his screenings. When you need to start getting screened at least you know what to expect. Hopefully in the future you won’t have to do it without anesthesia!!! Colon health is soooo important!!

I am glad you are able to share in your health journey. Hopefully, you don't feel quite so all alone. I am sure there are many of us praying that you are able to be cured or at least find a treatment. Take care.
Hey, I want to be assure you that two years ago I had both an upper endoscopy, and colonoscopy colonoscopy was a lot easier to deal with! Of course, it will differ from person to person, I can only tell you how it was for me, but I hope your experience is also not too bad ❤
Restocking footage = Satisfying
HI ! Watching you from INDIA! I learn a lot from you . Keep up the good work ❤
Hoping results will be fine. Stay strong as always 🙏
Great video! Thank you for the visit😊
They do it in UK without sedation if you don't have someone with you
Hello my friend! I’m an older viewer, but I really enjoy watching your videos. You are very sweet and so smart. When I was your age I moved to a big city to better use my nursing degree. I come from a very small town in northern Maine close to the Canadian border. City life was a lot of fun! Keep up the good work and keep your spirits high. God is with you! Blessings!
Lou very good thank you
I don’t think I have ever been this early! Thanks Lou for sharing a little bit of your life with us 😊 I hope they figure out why all the inflammation.
You're welcome! Glad you enjoyed the video 😊
I had my colonscopy and also to eat nothing day before and preparing with medicine to clean out your colon
Was awful but I did it
Procedure was next day but I was awake and actually watched the camera on the screen going through my colon
Was very uncomfortable but I got through it
Prayers for you and hope you find out what is going on
Take care and love your videos
See you in next one ❤❤❤❤
Maybe there's a medical transport assistance service available? It's worth researching before your next examination
Thank You for sharing your journey with us 😊 I look forward to each new video 😇 Blessings to you each and every day.
Hello from Sydney Australia
I know exactly how you feel, I'm on a Family Hereditary Register, I have this procedure every two yrs. Hope results are encouraging for you. Xx. ❤
All went well
Vai dar tudo certo 🙏🏽! Deus te abençoe 🙌🏽!
I’ve had a number of colonoscopies and they were all good experiences under anesthesia. I can’t imagine the torture you’ve experienced. I hope you get answers soon, don’t give up ❤
Hello Lou, I managed to watch your video, I had my father's funeral last Monday, so I was in a bad mood
I hope your ok ❤ I really like your videos. Your in my prayers
Sending prayers for you Happy Thanksgiving ❤️
My dear, i have ordered a few minutes ago, an d i'm so happy😊. I like your channel so much and i wish you the best. Regards from luxembourg😘😘
Your stomach cancer rate being higher could be related to all the prepackaged food you eat. Chemical additives and preservatives usually included in those. Check out your ingredients
Thank you.
I would love to know how I could get the white happy cat that sits on your desk?
