And Lucy's voice is absolutely brilliant live.. So I don't understand where all you "she sounds so forced!" people are coming from. Eh, I love her, love her voice, love her style & music, and I love that she's doing well with her career without losing respect for herself.

I AM a musician, and I found it funny that you just assumed that I wasnt... A young one at that, so not extremely knowledgeable I'll admit. But I can tell when someone can sing. I don't want to nitpick all of the things about every single performance that someone could do better. I just know she has a great voice and ACTUALLY has talent, and that's enough for me to appreciate her. I understand her technique may need to develop and improve more in some people's ears, but she's just got back into music, give her time, she's probably working on it as we speak 😊

Every musicians have their own way of pronunciation and articulation of words, and how they choose to sing it. She isn't forcing anything, and YOU would have known that if you were a musician. This is actually the perfect song for her, she has the perfect country voice for a song of this kind, and even though not every performance is spot on doesn't mean it isn't right for the artist. Keep in mind that she's performed this particular song a dozen of times in a short amount of times, and of course you should know that THAT will be noticed in her voice. But, that's not the case here though... So,yes... That's my opinion, AS a musician!
