Don't use this video as an example of what "Being good" is like. It's a single player game, unless you play Coop. But even then, it's versus AI. And it's DnD for Christ sake. Any attempt at being "Good" can be thrown off by a bad Dice roll.
Be happy with how you do. Be happy with how you play. Take inspiration where you want, and for what you wanna try. But never compare yourself to someone else. You are unique, and great on your own. You don't need to be held up to any standard. What you do is enough, as long as you like what it is you do.

@@mycelia_ow Well of course. You're the fruiting bodies of Magic Mushrooms. I'd be concerned if you understood people. (That said, I feel like the modding community is large enough like Skyrim's that it expands outwards in most directions simultaneously so perhaps it is relatable.) Some people play the game actively seeking the hardest challenge they can find and to push the limits of their creativity, tactics and general cheesiness. Others play for the story while others play for the "plot" and "gameplay" (there's a Luality short for context if needed there).
There have been a lot of solo honour mode playthroughs coming up on the suggested as people take on the toughest difficulty with their own restrictions because I suppose they find the challenge rewarding. You can observe similar in Dark Souls style games with people completing broken sword runs, no bonfire runs and even beating the game with a dance mat. It's interesting that it's so popular in the Baldur's Gate playerbase though, I assume it might just be that these are the ones which we see. Other examples would be XCOM 2's Long War mod which gives a much longer campaign with a more strategic ai.
They're gonna make Luality the last boss in the next expansion...nobody will ever get to see the ending cinematics.

I literally just did this fight last night as my first time through the game and it certainly took me longer than the duration of a RUclips shorts video to do it...
Thought it was easily one of the toughest fights in the game

The hardest fight in the game Tactician Mode is the Harpies in act 1 at level 3 tho. If they lure all your party you are simply set to fail :(
But i guess you have time to put some barrels in the spot where they pop?

Just played the fight with avatar of myrkul yesterday with party at lv9. I had seen this fight on RUclips and though it would be tough but ended up taking 0 damage
@@kitten_with_bad_breath how many turns? with 4 peoples is pretty easy to make it in 2 turns tops even without much preparation
my first two times killing this boss i used 2 divine interventions to keep my party alive. hopes and shadowhearts. 3rd time i beat it in 2 turns

My first time I fought him I turtled in an invulnerability spell and broke all the pillars with Karlach throwing shenanigans. Then I gathered enemies with blackhole and started nuking. Which is cowardly looking back on it but the theme song had me panicking lol

Did you play in tatician??? Bcouse every time i use this invulnerability spell the monsters always find a way to attack me inside in a way that brake or try to my concentration, it sure is usefull, but i find it kinda bugged you shoud be imortal and impervious inside it.

It's a Gloom stalker(at least 5)/Assassin (at least 3)/Fighter build with focus on the sharpshooter feat and attacking first round. Mixing parasite buffs, items, consumables, action surge, haste and arrows (especially the manyshot arrow) you can attack up to 9-10 times in a round. It's a great glass cannon build.

and it is not assassin but THIEF! cause have 2 bonus action but has no supraise critical hits...
and deffinitly have sharpshoter feat and the ability improvment or savage attacker

Either way, as a DM, there is plenty of overlap between the two that her build may be possible within the bounds of 5e, depending on the DM. Monks and Rangers were buffed in BG3 though so without knowing the build myself I can't even begin to look into it.

@@veganryori I know what he does but I still like him. In my playthroughs he never actually does anything bad to my characters except taunting them a few times. His theatrics are funny and I would honestly give him the crown if I didn't already know that it is a terrible idea. I feel bad for attacking NPCs that I feel like haven't wronged me first, and his only wrong thing he did was tell me he had the Hammer. You can beat the game just fine without assaulting the House of Hope, so I have to convince myself to attack it simply because I don't like The Emperor.

potion of speed, action surge, and elixir of bloodlust each give an extra action. Bouncing arrows make your arrows hit multiple targets, and multi attack granting 2 shots per action. 8 attacks that all bounce between multiple enemies, and speccing for high crit chance and lots of bonus damage = the whole room wiped up

I was able to do 428 damage with my paladin one just his turn. Was best case scenario of course but made for quick work of the fight lol

They immediately added a hotfix afterwards
For me Act3 was laggy as heck in the city. Had to do some mod magic to get it run okay. It was unplayable even after the Hotfix.

I know this fight is coming for me. I refuse to work with this snake despite remaining amicable all the way through the first two acts. I'm actually not looking forward to it, I enjoy Raphael as an antagonist but I don't necessarily want to kill him.
