nothing new, it's the usual cash grabbing operation, an outsourced limiteded run of pens. Bexley, Conway Stewart, Wahl Eversharp and now Omas. Drop the act, it's the usual smoke and mirrors marketing prop.

I don't understand what is going on.
The Omas trademark was bought bu Ancora and there is no mention of the company nor on the video or on the product page on the website.
So: did you buy the OMAS company trademark?
Apparently the pen is produced in some capacity also by Nahvalur.
What is their role in this?

      Nahvalur??? What????
This pen is made in Naples. I don't understand what is going on here, because from a conversation I had with the person in the know, Ancora does not have plans "at the moment" to do anything with OMAS. This person kept saying be attentive with what is being said about OMAS. That is all this person could tell me.
So I don't know how this pen is being produced, and why Ancora is letting this happen, unless there is some legal options to come. It has the OMAS celluloid, and nib but is it really an OMAS?
I have no idea what is going on.

@@ironmic9244 So this person knows it is an UNAUTHORISED pen made by a shady businessman that has already done the same shady business with COnway Stewart. OMAS Celluloid? Wow, this company has more OMAS Celluloid than OMAS had in stock when they folded.
A pen made in Napoli using the name of a company from Bologna.
A business man that the community dislikes, with an ego bigger than the Burj Kalifa.
      Shame!

@@MrTeal888 Apparently they do. I flat out asked what was happening with OMAS. I was told what I wrote above that there were no plans as of yet to produce under OMAS, and that Ancora was the only one with the rights. For reasons I understand, they wouldn't give me more information. I don't want to say more because I don't want to betray anyone's trust, though again I wasn't given much. I came away with the feeling that if/when Ancora wants to put out an OMAS pen they want to do it right. They don't want to tarnish the reputation of OMAS. I also expressed that it is better to let OMAS rest, then bring it back and destroy the reputation. This person knows it is just a mess and a whole lot of confusion, but I don't know what their plan is about this.
As to this pen, this video says "the new OMAS Atelier", but from what I got, there is no new OMAS production facility sanctioned by Ancora. So I don't know what the hell is going on. I do know that Leonardo may have been making some pen bodies for ASC. Might make sense because Leonardo has created a very , very limited arco bronze and verde pens. So is Leonardo helping them out with this??
If I may ask, what do you mean about a 'shady businessman?" I don't know much about his practices, except that he bought the celluloid stock, but I heard he is burning through the arco stock. There might not be much arco left. I do know that ASC, became The Pen Family, and they bought out nibs.com, and they have old OMAS nibs in stock.
That comment about the Burj Kalifa was hilarious. But this is all getting ridiculous. It's bad enough how OMAS was gutted, but this is causing so much confusion.

@@ironmic9244 The shaddy business was registering Conway Stewart in the USA knowing that Conway Stewart never stopped trading in the UK. Not Leonardo, Gioia is making them, they are the only pen makers in Naples.

All hand made with an in-house nib...
I'm not sure what people are complaining about... brands get sold... at least Omas is staying true to their roots.

This is messed up. What is this guy doing? He doesn't own the rights to OMAS.
