My husband died recently. I hope with all my heart he is experiencing the love and compassion and sheer happiness of being with God. I think he is all right in my heart.

This is so powerful it has moved me to tears. I am 63 years old male, I feel lost and trapped in this world now. I am not in a terrible situation at all compared to many others, but the past 3 months or so have been filled with anxiety and fear, and my days are more of a chore than the joy to be alive that they used to be. For me, this was the most touching and accurate picture of who God is and who I am. And what Jacob says about ego, religion, being with God, and how sin causes us to lose that unity with God is pure gold. I never heard any preacher explain this truth better than Jacob has done here. Jacob does not mention any particular religion but his message is so beautiful and so biblical!! And I know his message is true as I also felt that love, that unity with God once in my life. Yes, it doesn't touch on Christianity specifically, but it certainly sums up the Christian walk. I follow the way of Jesus and he's my savior and Lord. This may explain how individual and sincere believers in other faiths that follow God are also redeemed? I'm not a universalist, as I think it's a slippery paths that water down the truth found in the bible, but there's some explanation and God alone knows.

This was worded so eloquently, so peacefully and so beautifully! I could just picture myself at every juncture and it all felt blissful. My husband passed away 3 weeks ago and I am a widow now at 37, I have a strong faith and I know he is in heaven completely healed, at peace and held in the pure unconditional love of God. I know he is better there than here, but I do miss my best friend and now I have to navigate my life now without him and in a new country as I am moving back home to Ireland. Jacob...I've heard many NDE stories, but your story is, & always will be, the closest to my heart. It's as if you were retelling parts of my life, by that I mean..the difficult childhood, & the feeling of being lost, feeling unloved. As your story evolved, & you spoke of God's presence in your NDE, I began to cry. I knew how you were feeling. I knew exactly how you were feeling. As I cried I thought how wonderful that must've been to finally feel that unconditional love that was all so real. I wondered how it would feel for me to experience that too.. when one day I pass. Please know that you are not alone, Jacob, & that there are many Jacobs & Kandys in this world, since time began really, that share the same early childhood memories, & with God, with love, we can heal. Maybe not entirely, but we can heal enough with the understanding, love, & help from God, our Father, so that we could love ourselves, & even others even more than we ever thought we could. I had this happen when I was judging someone, God showed me in a dream how love could heal that person's spirit. Then He said, "Do you want to feel some of this love?" I said yes (of course!) and this white light entered through the crown of my head and I thought I was going to disintegrate from the sheer power and intensity of it. Loved this NDE video! I experienced something similar many years ago, but not connected to almost dying. I was a long time meditator that practiced techniques that slowed down the heart and breath to where they sometimes briefly stopped and the ties to this physical world loosened enough to allow a temporary escape from the confines of the body. The Love, Joy, Bliss, and Wisdom flows instantly, and sometimes your mind loses all limitations and flows into something called cosmic consciousness where you are one with God. Just a glimpse of that experience is life changing. It took me a few months to be able to talk about it. All our words are used to convey thoughts by comparing and sharing different ideas. There’s no way to adequately describe God. God is simultaneously beyond any human concept in vastness, intimacy, knowledge, etc.. I’m really impressed that you did such a terrific job of it.
