Love You Still 🌊 is her first written song, yet it is the most personal one for her. What makes this song wonderful is that it is universal. Any person can relate with their lives. That is the power of music🎵 and Mori just took the soul very well. She isn't just a great vocalist with great vocals and techniques, she is a very well true singer who do not sing to impress but rather expresses to sing. The Phoenix never fails to amaze us🔥♥️

This song is so powerful to begin with; but knowing the backstory just raises it to a whole new level. I love and respect Morissette immensely for being so open and allowing us Mowienatics to pull for her and pray for her and Dave. Blessings and peace and healing to Mori and Dave and their entire families.

Her parents were truly against Dave and perhaps they had their reasons at that time. But a few years have passed and Dave has more than demonstrated enough that he's a good man and a wonderful partner to Mori. We hold on to your pride like it's a shield and a shelter not knowing when to let go of our misconceptions.
She's happy and she's thriving with her music and her relationship but a part of her will always be her father's little girl hoping and waiting for him to embrace and accept her again. I hope they will.

It's so, so sad to see someone as pure, generous, and kind-hearted as Morissette bear this much pain. You can see that at one point in her video, her emotion got the best of her and she broke down. She tried to cover it up with her bubbly giggle but you can see the pain she was feeling was too much. But like a true professional knowing the show must go on, she quickly composed herself and signaled to Dave to continue on. So much strength this gifted soul has.
Despite being cast away by her family, she continues to financially support them, even building a beautiful home for them while she herself stayed at a closet size condo until she married Dave. I hope you watch her music video/wedding video. Despite walking the aisle alone, her wedding was absolutely the best I've seen. ♥️
At the end of the video, Morissette and Dave were expressing how amazing the cello has brought it to another level. 😁😁😁
Its about time to react to her whole signature EP & they are all great. That whole EP speaks more on how great she is as an artist. A lane nobody has ever done except her. This is how I start & end my day to make me feel relaxed & reenergize. Morissette is something very special that you can't see & hear everyday. Love You Still is very special for Morissette, she wrote this for her estranged father for 3 yrs now,you know,a daddy's girl,girl fell in love, father didn't like the guy,but she follwed her heart,now her husband,happily married and the genius behind every work of Morissette,just so sad that even in her own wedding, nobody from her family attended,so she alone walked down the aisle,hoping one day, this too ,shall pass.

Wow! You have the same exact circumstance with Mori. That song was written for her father whom she had lost relationship with. I think they are still not talking today. I think her dad was trying to control her life’s decisions/choices.

Hi Cha this is how exactly she wrote the this song because her father discovered that she was dating the man who is her husband now and he disapproved totally because her father was thinking it will just ruin her singing career that they both worked hard for.❤
It would seem that our dearest Mori is being deliberately ignored by the controlling and influential elements of the western (US & Europe) music industry because she is a threat (market share) to their own talents, projects and investments.

Ive seen this comment a few times. I'm sure you are not in the entertainment industry so you are assuming these things. Morissette is virtually unknown in the US. I saw her concert in LA and it was NOT sold out and it was virtually all Filipinos. LA has the second largest Filipino community outside of Manilla and she's still didn't sell out 100%. Morissette is a generational artist but if she wants to break into the music scene in the US/UK there's a very good chance she's going to need to relocate here and plant her proverbial flag. With the right team around her....she could rule the world....but thats not going to happen from over 8,000 miles away! Morissette stated in an interview that she wants to keep the Philippines as her base. Time will tell. Hopefully she will make the move and assume her rightful place at the top!
