I met a boy when I was 16, and at the time, he was 17. A part of me knew we had something special. We were so deeply connected. We laughed all the time, had the best conversations and to simply put it, I adored him. We’d go on long drives and listen to his amazing playlist and sit in silence enjoying our moments together… But life happened and we lost touch shortly after. We reconnected again in our early 20s, but the timing was wrong and lost touch once again. Apparently our story wasn’t over as the universe brought us back together over 10 years later. And now, in our mid-30s, we are deeply in love. I’ve never felt a love so true and honest. Tonight, he set an alarm on his phone to remind him about the premiere of this song so he can send it to me (I sent him a small snippet of it a few days ago, so I’ve been anticipating the release not knowing the full song was going to be released tonight).

I had (okay, maybe still have) this crush on someone I knew for only a little over a month or so ? (I know, it's crazy haha !) but he pops up in my head whenever I hear this song.
