I don't like the fir of this case. Like why am I seeing the silver rails on the top and bottom. Also, I hate that I can see the glass part of the phone around the camera with the case on. The case usually covers up all the glass. Just doesn't look nice.
I agree with you. This is my channel. I'm just writing this on my personal RUclips account. It's my wife's case. I don't like it either for all the reasons you stated and it is way too tight. Al.kst impossible to get off. Feels like you are going to break the phone getting the case off.
Yes I've used my wife's ZAGG case as well. I just prefer the look and feel of the Caseology Athlex case. It has way more grip to it. Won't slip out of your hand. I believe drop protection is on par with ZAGG as well. Plus Caseology is cheaper..
Check this out... I used to be a CDL truck driver. I was pulling off to the side of the road at a truck stop. I had my Galaxy S10 Plus in my lap. I hop out after parking the truck 🚛 my phone falls maybe 12 feet 10 at minimum on to concrete. After bouncing a few times I bent down to pick it up.... Nothing. Good as new. I had an Incipio Dual Pro case, 2 layer on my device. After that incident I have always gotten Incipio Dual Pro for my devices. But you are correct... Most of these cases are trash and they definitely lie about drop tested and drop protection. Only a select few that I really trust.
Challenging this. Not sure if you own this case, but as shit as it is for the most part, it's clear there was some significant engineering effort that went into its drop protection, unique design and reliably tough material. As BS as Gear 4 is and with it being beyond me why Zagg had to once again start a brand new company just to sell D30 cases, this thing is well built with incredibly solid lip protection on either side, a tad heavy with a better-than-average gripability. I don't know why but all of these D30 pixel cases just end up feeling awkward or straight up cut incorrectly from the factory. But it will protect your phone.

Does the zagg screen protector fit this ?
I'm not sure but I would assume Zagg would test screen protector and case at the same time. Probably does.
